  1. Mixed some acrylic paints and hand painted the head details of the rally cockpit and Wild One driver. Mixed white, brown and yellow for the flesh tone. Next is fabricating the rollbar/cage for the cockpit.
  2. @Tamiyastef Universal CVD is definitely a big plus. I went brushless with mine 2 years ago and it's so much fun.
  3. Posca. They're really easy to work with.
  4. Yes. Combination of paint pens (1mm & 5mm) and acrylic paint using brushes. The pens are used for outlines and narrow/thin shading. Then I used the acrylic paint for filling up wide areas. The white paint on the driver and co-driver's suit is combined too. As for the helmet, I'll be using airbrush with urethane paint and "00" paint brush for the details using acrylic paint.
  5. I finally had the time to tinker and work on my new Celica ST185 body (purchased last April) and my cockpit (purchased last month). Will still work on the helmets/heads and the Celica body probably this coming weekend.
  6. Those wheels fit perfect on that BBX @ChrisRx718 Can you show us more close up pics and of the chassis? Are there any standard hop-up parts included in the box kit? Congrats!
  7. There's actually a lot of 1:12 scales from AUTOart and Kyosho. As much I'd love to collect them, they're too big and eats up too much space. Also very expensive to complete the Lamborghini line. Oh another brand worth checking is Amalgam. They probably make the best and most detaild big scale models. But prices are extremely high.
  8. I'm a vinyl lover. I started collecting in 1990. Lots of them were borrowed and never returned from 1998 - 2003, especially my 90s collection. I got so frustrated. I had to restart hunting and buying the 90s stuff all over again since 2014. Cost me so much time, effort and money. Currently, I only have about 800 pieces. 600 of which are house music singles. The rest are jazz, alternative rock and some albums too. All curated and no waste. I sold most of the stuff I never really liked or used. I'm also running a vinyl record shop with a few friends/partners since 2020.
  9. Oh I see. I dodn't realize that the Egress had longer dampers than the Avante only until now.
  10. @Willy iine did you modify the front shock tower of this Egress? Looks mean!
  11. Lovely shots @Re-Bugged and @Ferruz
  12. For that error, you'll be fined with a penalty. I'll send you my mailing address to clear your penalty and you have to send an item which is listed below: 1 unit - Turbo Scorpion or Super Astute (built or unbuilt. Any color will do)
  13. Newly re-built and cleaned. Including diffs, shocks and bearings. New shoes too.

  15. Congrats! Show us pics. Lots of them. In detail too. See that's the problem. Work eats too much of our time. Work interferes with our hobby too much.
  16. Kyosho also did this in the diecast models line. They keep on announcing upcoming ones with prototype pictures and some re-releases but in the end, left the consumers frustrated. You hoarder!!!
  17. Packed with hop up goodies in that TA-05! Nice one @one_hit I always like seeing kits built with really nice mods.
  18. Hey @Frankster We went home last Sunday but I'm planning on coming back this September. Would you recommend any good camera shops that I ccan check out with reasonable prices? The one I went to at Mong Kok isn't really updated. Quite strange as it is a big store. While the one in Jordan sells extremely expensive stuff. Leica lenses range from HK$8K to 30K a piece, While they don't carry Panasonic G lenses which is what I'm looking for and also planning to get a GX85 or GX9 if I can find at a better reasonable price. I also don't mind getting a used one as long as the shutter count isn't high and the unit itself is in fresh condition.
  19. Wow! That's great! Must be so proud of him. He must have also built you a nice gravel or Mt bike. There you go. I wouldn't be surprised at all if you did a couple of variations. It won't be impossible if Kyosho released different Z models of their current and previous popular 1:10 RCs like the Beetle, Ultima, Javellin,Tomahawk, Scorpion and Otima line which I'm sure you'll get all. I actually have plans of going to Japan next year on January. If in case you'll go at the same time, let's meet up.
  20. Yes. In fact she drives the CC-01 and the FF-03RR during races and bashing when I bring her along. Now for sure you'll be getting not just one but a few number of the Optima Z and make variations of it. I guess it's the same. Yup it still has the 2nd floor which houses the parts. That's where I went crazier.
