  1. Did you bind all three receivers properly? There's a small hole and a button inside at the side of the RX. Press and hold that button using a small 1.5mm hex screwdriver (or anything similar in size) when turning the ESC and the TX on. That should quickly do it. Here's a quick guide. I have two RC4GS and an RC6GS of my friend. All were very easy to bind and set up.
  2. Side by side shots of the Lamborghini Countach 5000s by AUTOart and Kyosho. Both models have their respective accuracies and inaccuracies. But regardless, they both look great.
  3. Another cockpit masterpiece by @OoALEJOoO
  4. @Ferruz I'm blown away by the painting and details of this cockpit and driver/co-driver. Wow! You and @OoALEJOoO are the masters of kcoc...pits. But seriously, fantastic work!
  5. Make sure to put those blue 0.5mm spacers on top of the steering set bearing. This is to avoid the steering set from rubbing/binding with the carbon fiber. As seen here: blue spacer on top of the bearing before putting the CF brace on top.
  6. Yes. The TRF420 was released at the end of 2019. This new TRF421 chassis looks like it won't share a lot of parts with its predecessor. Unlike the 415/416/417/418/419 and other TA/TB and FF cars, they share many other parts. Although suspension arms looks similar to the TA-08 on this one.
  7. Agreed! @Willy iine's project builds and collection absolutely belongs here than any other RC forums I believe. Plus his catalog-ish presentation and pictures are eye-ctatching. I'd normally peak in his showroom here and in IG once in a while for some inspirations and ideas too.
  8. What a build! Fantastic project and customization on the BBX gearbox conversion. Your parts choices are all great. Looking forward to the finished build.
  9. @wtcc5 This TA-08R build of yours is just making me drool (again). Just like your other projects (FF cars most especially), the blue stuff is like a sight magnet, I can't take my eyes off of it. As they said in LRP, "Blue is Better", I think it applies to Tamiya too.
  10. Another nice project @BuggyDad I love the custom steering modification and the use of CF is defintely a huge factor. I have also used CF as reinforcement on my FF-01 and Wild One and they are very effective, plus it looks good too.
  11. Yes you can burn the ends to bond the braided tips using a lighter. Then secure with shrink tubes.
  12. The stickers (someone will get p!ssed if we mention decal ) came with the body. This is made by Team C by the way. Yup to me it's worth it. While it's minimal adition to the performance, it made the upper suspension mounts stiffer and weight is lighter than the plastic counterparts. Plus of course the looks. CF parts adds so much points in the bling department.
  13. I use shrink tubes to hold the ends and makes them look neat too. Like this...
  14. There's a few tricks on installing the steering brace. You'll need to put the supplied blue 0.5mm spacer on top of the steering bearings before installing the CF brace. Otherwise, the steering arms will have a slop/play. Also, install nuts under the holes of the brace. Apply minimal super glue to hold the nuts in place so they won't fall off once you install the brace.
  15. So I finally got the carbon fiber upgrades for the upper suspension mounts (front & rear) and steering arms brace. Cleaned up the steering set before installation. Front installed and for the rear Done! I know it only adds very little to performance as they're lighter and stiffer than the plastic counterparts, but it sure looks d@mn good!

  17. Wow! This is a nice custom project @Mad Ax Can't wait to see it finished.
  18. I used to use Photobucket until they started to become crappy and the images suffer quality loss because of too much compression. I switched to Flickr (more than 15 years ago) and just 5 years ago, Imgur. Both have been great. @wtcc5 You can use both and start uploading pics there. But unfortunately, you will have to edit your posts and change the image links individually from the newer host. which will take a lot of time.
  19. Yes the HPI Venture is still a worthy and very capable crawler/trailer. There are also lots of upgrades too from other aftermarket brands so parts are not scarce yet.
