  1. Lovely shots @Re-Bugged and @Ferruz
  2. For that error, you'll be fined with a penalty. I'll send you my mailing address to clear your penalty and you have to send an item which is listed below: 1 unit - Turbo Scorpion or Super Astute (built or unbuilt. Any color will do)
  3. Newly re-built and cleaned. Including diffs, shocks and bearings. New shoes too.

  5. Congrats! Show us pics. Lots of them. In detail too. See that's the problem. Work eats too much of our time. Work interferes with our hobby too much.
  6. Kyosho also did this in the diecast models line. They keep on announcing upcoming ones with prototype pictures and some re-releases but in the end, left the consumers frustrated. You hoarder!!!
  7. Packed with hop up goodies in that TA-05! Nice one @one_hit I always like seeing kits built with really nice mods.
  8. Hey @Frankster We went home last Sunday but I'm planning on coming back this September. Would you recommend any good camera shops that I ccan check out with reasonable prices? The one I went to at Mong Kok isn't really updated. Quite strange as it is a big store. While the one in Jordan sells extremely expensive stuff. Leica lenses range from HK$8K to 30K a piece, While they don't carry Panasonic G lenses which is what I'm looking for and also planning to get a GX85 or GX9 if I can find at a better reasonable price. I also don't mind getting a used one as long as the shutter count isn't high and the unit itself is in fresh condition.
  9. Wow! That's great! Must be so proud of him. He must have also built you a nice gravel or Mt bike. There you go. I wouldn't be surprised at all if you did a couple of variations. It won't be impossible if Kyosho released different Z models of their current and previous popular 1:10 RCs like the Beetle, Ultima, Javellin,Tomahawk, Scorpion and Otima line which I'm sure you'll get all. I actually have plans of going to Japan next year on January. If in case you'll go at the same time, let's meet up.
  10. Yes. In fact she drives the CC-01 and the FF-03RR during races and bashing when I bring her along. Now for sure you'll be getting not just one but a few number of the Optima Z and make variations of it. I guess it's the same. Yup it still has the 2nd floor which houses the parts. That's where I went crazier.
  11. Thanks pare! It's like a trip to Disneyland for Tamiya fans. Whether it be RC, models or mini4WD.
  12. I've searched for this wheel and tires combo at local shops as well as online but it was so hard-to-find. It was only in Tamiya Factory Shop in HK that I found these. Glad to have them as they look much better on the WO than the bigger ones which make the WO look like a 4WD. Comparison to the bigger ones

  14. Those kits are drifters. The disc brakes calipers aren't working and the discs are attached to the wheel hubs. Those are actually cool looking but brakes are still controlled by the ESC & motor. 😊
  15. Part 2 - Tamiya Drool Factory After the RCmart store visit, we went to meet up with our friends for lunch and went to Mong-Kok for shoes shopping. Since Mong-Kok was just a 6 blocks away from Yau Ma Tei (same area were the RCmart store is), we went back and this time, to visit the Tamiya shop. That lunch we had earlier really helped bring the excitement back. As soon as we arrived... The store blew me away. Almost everything you/I/we need from Tamiya was there. Kits... kits... kits... kits... kits... kits... kits... and more kits plus a bunch dozens of bodies. Electronics - TX, RX, motors, servos, ESC, etc Paints... Scale models - lots and lots of them Decals and modeling tapes, craft tools, etc Mini-4wd - so many of them plus the parts and upgrades (didn't take pics of them all though) and of course, the parts. Very well arranged. Many of them are organized by part number and hop-ups for certain kits too. I was very happy to see many old parts from olders kits available there too. The frustration I got from RCmart was transformed into happiness at the Tamiya Factory shop. It was like walking through a catalog but you can touch, feel and inspect them. As I mentioned, everything you need from Tamiya was there including stem modeling and educational series. I was in euphoria.
  16. My daughter, and some friends of ours went on a 5 day holiday trip to HK. Of course part of the plan was to go shopping, dine in authentic oriental food restaurants, a promised trip to Disneyland for my daughter, and of course some camera/diecast models/RC parts shopping for myself. Saturday morning was set for my "me" time. This was after a full day-to-night at Disneyland and has a total 17,474 steps on that day alone. But the tireness didn't stop me from waking up early and we prepared to leave the hotel and go to RCmart. When I searched Google maps for RCMart, it directed us to go to an address (Lai Yip st in Ngau Tau Kok) which is kinda far from where we were staying (Austin Rd.) Took us 3 train stations and another 12 upon transfer. When we got there, I was surprised that we ended up going to the main office. They had a bunch of items there but the entire place was also being renovated. I spoke to a representative and I was told to go to the retail store because the main office won't sell me some stuff. But the excitement didn't stop me so my daughter and I left and headed back. To my surprise, the retail store was just a station away from where we were staying. As soon as we got off the subway, we walked about 4 blocks and then there, we found it. Then we entered. It wasn't a big store. I was expecting to see a lot of various stuff that are normally seen available at the site. But to my dismay, the store had mostly Xpress stuff, YR parts, some electronics on display, some bodies, and a decent number of basic Tamiya, Traxxas and Mini-Z kits. Although the Optima Z was fantastic! I would have bought it if I was into Mini-Z. I was ecpecting to see a much bigger store but basically that was it. I asked the manager/person behind the counter if they have this and that (parts that were commonly available at the site), be he said that those things I was looking for were only available for online purchase and not in the retail store. Grrrrr!!! @Willy iine will kill me for passing on this Optima Z. I only ended up buying a couple of open face ball adjusters and a PowerHD R12 servo for my FF-03RR. A bit frustrating because I was expecting to see more. End of part 1.
