Im building the Tamiya Toyota Land Crusier 40.It calls to lock the differential or leave them unlocked.What is the main advantageS to locked?Also when they are locked they seem to be a little rougher to turn.Is that normal.Thanks William.

Does anyone know what other chassis would fit the new Landcrusier body if you bought the body by itself?Such as old or new chassis other than the one that it comes with.Thanks William.

I have a 3600 nimh battery.Should I discharge it every time before I charge or do I discharge every so many charges?Thanks William.

I have the Losi mini slider with the 1100 NI-MH battery.I know they sell an adapter to charge the battery on a large battery charger.Does anyone know what amps to charge this battery on and how long it would take.It comes with the wall charger which takes about three hour to charge the battery.Its 7.2 volt but the cells are smaller than C size.thanks William.

I know its not Tamiya but its electric.I have the Losi slider with the 7.2 volt Ni-mh battery.They say they can be charged on a regular battery charger.It comes witha wall charger but they have an adapter to charge it on a large charger.Its 1100 NI-mh 7.2 volt.What amps should the charger be set to charge this size battery and how long to charge.The cells are smaller than c size.I do have many Tamiya vehicles I just wanted to try one of these out.Thanks William.

I am looking for a battery for my Sand Rover.I was going to use the DuraTrax hump pack but they dont make it anymore.I want a new type 7.2 volt battery.Can anyone tell me a site or where I can get one that will fit.Thanks William.

Yes, that battery will fit straight in no problem.
Terry will the body still go down on the body mounts?Also you mean the DuraTrax.Thanks william.

Idont have the original battery for my Sand rover.Someone suggested to use the DuraTrax 6 cell hump stick.Has anyone used this battery?Does it fit in the battery area of the Rover?Will the body still set down over this battery or is it to high?Any other battteries that fit other than the original?

No worries.
The Sand Rover, Brat, Fast Attack Vehicle, Rough Rider and Ford F150 Ranger all have the same wheel-mount. Also the Holiday Buggy, Sand Scorcher, Super Champ, Wild One, Mitsubishi Pajero, Grasshopper, Hornet, Frog and I think the XR311 and Cheetah.
All these wheels will fit the Sand Rover.
The Sand Rover tyre will only fit the Sand Rover wheel (same as the Holiday Buggy one).
The Brat tyre will fit: Rough Rider, Ford F150 Ranger, Brat, Fast Attack Vehicle, Wild One and Mitsubishi Pajero wheels.
The Sand Sorcher (paddle) tyre will fit: Sand Scorcher, Super Champ, Grasshopper, Hornet and Frog wheels.
The Super Champ (spike) tyre will fit: Sand Scorcher, Super Champ, Grasshopper, Hornet and Frog wheels.

Those rear tyres you mention are used on the Brat, Fast Attack, vehicle, Rough Rider and Ford F150 Ranger. All those wheels will fit on the Sand Rover. Those tyres won't fit on the Sand Rover rims.

Where there different chassis used in different Holiday buggies.Isaw a orange colored Holiday buggy with a diffenrt type chassis then the blue colored body.Was there such thing as a Ready to run type?Thanks William.
