  1. Hi CarKing, I might be interested in one of these cars. If you'd like to contact me via eMail with the details and pictures that would be great :0) It's: simland@dsl.pipex.com
  2. So you can't buy the TB-01 cars new then? I'll have a look at those used ones but I'd rather buy new, these cars take some pounding!
  3. Cheers, that was the impression I got from reading the other threads I've found. However, what I can't find are cars for sale based on this chassis. There are loads of TT-01 cars obviously and a few on the TB-02 but I've not seen any on the TB-01. Ideally he wants a rally car like a Subaru or Focus, are these available? Also, are there plenty of parts available for the TB-01 chassis? Again I've seen tons of bits for the TT-01 but I assume you can get similar parts for the TB-01? Thanks again guys :0)
  4. Hi there, The kids and I already have four off road trucks but my son wants a rally car, but which is the best chassis to go for? We need something that'll be good on slabs/tarmac but might also cope with short grass. The TT-01 chassis seems to be the most popular one but from what I've gleaned on here the TB-01 is tougher and can give better ground clearance. Is this chassis still sold or is the TB-02 the replacement? What are the pros and cons of these chassis, are parts available and where can you buy TB chassis based cars? Thank you.
  5. Looks interesting. What about wheels? Do normal car wheels fit?
  6. They're not that big, might be an option. Thanks.
  7. My son has a Mighty Bull, same chassis as Blackfoot Extreme, Twin Detonator etc. He quite fancies fitting an Evo car body and some road wheels to it! Yes, I know it would look mad, I think that’s one of the reasons he wants to do it, but has anyone done this kind of thing? I’d love to see what it looks like myself :0)
  8. Thank you guys. I had thought I could just stick a resistor in line with the motor. I'll look into your sugestions.
  9. I take it the stock Tamiya ECU isn't ajustable?
  10. Hi Guys, I’d like to let my five-year-old daughter play with my Blackfoot Extreme. She’ll just smash the planet with it though so what’s the best way to keep it slow until she learns…how to buy her own truck? Thank you :0)
  11. And you can powerslide 2WD in the damp! Very tough chassis and remember that Mighty Bull is the same truck with a marge tub body ready built for less money than a Blackfoot.
  12. Cheers. I usually resize them, but I forgot!
  13. Too big! Progress though, thanks :0)
  14. The used Blackfoot Extreme I bought last week came with some of these fitted in the wheel hubs, if you tightened the wheel nuts the wheels wouldn’t turn! In total there are sixteen of them which suggests that the guy might have bought a set, just not the right ones. No use to me though, just wondered if they might work for someone else.
