By the way are modern pinions the same as the older pinions in the avante 2001/egress?

I'm sure it was xmas 90 that i got my first brand new tamiya after the hotshot bit the dust a manta ray,although i won't be buying a re as i still have the original!

The comapany i work for has a workshop so i'll probably pop down there and get it made up,i'm sure you can get a bit of ally fairly cheaply.

14t?Wow. It says to use a 23t pinion the same as recommended as a dynatech o2h motor,what turn is this?

What turn esc would i need for the kit motor supplied?would a TEU-101BK do the trick?

My motor mount is missing on my egress would it be better to try and get one made up in 3mm aluminium than trying to find a original,i could use my avnate 2001 one as a template.Do you need the motor plate when using a aluminium motor mount,are they the paper/cardboard things?

I see that the kit uses the same pinion as the 02h motor and not the acto-power.

Just got my hands on a re-release dyna-storm,just reading the front of the box is says "almost completly reproduced the chassis and body of the original kit". Anyone know what the difference is? Is this pink motor any good?

Hi mud4fun, I have the lightweight(egress wheels) front and back and the hybrid tires asell.I have the dual ball diff and torque splitter set(53034),does this lock the centre diff?

Do you think the posi-joint universals are worth having ,have most of the other hop-ups other than the lower carbon chassis deck.Going to weigh this up against my egress and see how much weight i'll save.
