  1. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=98012&id=22525 Link above is for Whitening old plastic parts, Was searching for this incase when the wheels arrive there yellow, Should save someone else some time searching for it
  2. I haven't got the spare parts sorry, But get the guy you bought it off to cover the costs of buying the parts. At least I would expect a refund for the ESC being missing !
  3. I've never managed to follow through on a restoration thread & this one should be easy 'Famous last words' I bought this for £50 posted within the United Kingdom and still currently awaiting for it to arrive on my doorstep but I thought I'd start this off anyway as I've been getting some great advice on another thread I started for a TA01 Suspension Request. Anyway's for now here's the original photo's I got off the seller. I did ask and was advised there are no splits / cracks in the bodyshell at all. I have made two purchases in getting ready for this rebuild. Set of new rubber sealed bearings, I'm just going to replace all of them or as I expect to find them all the plastic ones. Also i saw two listing on ebay for these one at £40 & this one ( 3 More sets available ) at £9.99. Not sure if I'm going to use these yet but not sure if they are actually rare or just another seller trying to justify there £40 price tag! So the waiting game continues... Update when it arrives or when I've bought remembered something
  4. Might get a better response putting this into the 'Sales, trades & wanted' forum, Sorry I haven't got any TL-01 parts myself
  5. I really, Like the idea's you've mentioned. Seeing an entry list full of new content and making it anonymous, Is a cracking idea. I think your setting yourself up for an 'TC Idea Award'
  6. Hi Mark, Thank yoou for the offer but I forgot to reply to this thread. I've already gone and bought a set of 4 Tamiya shocks. I really appreciate the offer Cheers Chris
  7. Available on ebay for £9.99 bought these as usual when a rally car turns over there white
  8. Sorry to have to ask. After checking ebay and a couple of forums is it correct there is 22 bearings to completely upgrade all bearings in a ta01? Many Thanks!
  9. Getting period dampers was something I really wanted and forgot to ask ! The only other set I've had was a Tamiya TRF Set a few months ago when drifting a TA05 and the difference was amazing, Stopped all spin out ( Apart from when I stepped over me skill level lol ). Even on a TT-01 I had it made a massive difference considering the sloppyness of the chassis. Just read up on Velocity RC's free Shock building article http://www.vrcmag.com/free_articles/VRC_Shock_Free/ so this should be hours of fun. Just the way I like it
  10. Alloy it is. Just wanted to understand and enjoy another aspect of this hobby, I really appreciate the advice. I was going plastic but definatley not now. I'm now looking forward to many hours of tinkering. Just what I like. I'll update this thread when I buy a set, then you can tell me I bought the wrong ones lol
  11. Thanks guy's for the help. Might wait and buy some Tamiya Alloy bodied ones as you suggest. If I'm going to start trying different setups, guessing it would be better to have a 'solid constant base line' to start Appreciate the advice !
