  1. Hi, Im just posting to report some odd entries that have been left on my Madbull Vs Ramp Movie comments. I havent added them as they dont relate to TC. I did have some preiously, but I just deleted them, but I thought I would report these in-case anyone is having the problem or if no one has yet reported it. The posts are as follows; 01/02/2007 22:49:33 Since one of the ideas is to split strings not into words, but hopefully into phrases more semantically informative than the words they are made of, doing that better should mean better suggestions, and avoiding what essentially are word n-tuples should make for smaller data and slightly faster querying. by foot fetish 01/02/2007 10:53:44 Superb! 2. Hi Chris, Thanks for the reply. Yeah all I’m getting is text with the odd link within it here and there that took me to more text. I tried it on both my K750i (on O2) and K800i (on 3) (Im just changing network), on K750i it wouldnt load at all, but then again its on O2, so is a bit tempremental when browsing. It’s handy to have the site mobile just for the trades section mainly, saves missing anything good that pops up ;-) LOL! I was even checking it in the Apple store in New York last October every other day (its not as sad it sounds, my other half wanted to go in as was indecisive whether to get an I-book or not, so I just set myself up on the net! LOL!), oh and checking up on my Halloween comp entry! LOL! I kept leaving the page up, just in case anyone would pop a vote on, didn’t work! LOL! I will give it a go on the PSP when I get it next weekend (very excited about that). Cheers, Andy
  3. Hi, Just a quick post. Will Tamiyaclub be available for mobile phones? I could pick up the last version, but cant pick up the new one on my mobile? Cheers, Andy
  4. That is well and truly stunning! I would love a Sand Scorcher, one day, I will have one, its my destiny! LOL! I hope to go to Japan this year (Hopefully Apil?), however my other half isnt happy about my desire to go to the Tamiya HQ, or for that matter my idea to run off and join the Sumo whilst there! LOL! Think I will take a huge empty suitcase with me to fit a few kits in. ;-) You will have to keep us posted about when you are going as I would love to see it there when I visit or meet up. Andy
  5. Hi, Im currently looking for parts to Hop up my new Top Force, manily looking for Ball Connectors, wheel nuts, adjusters (maybe knuckles too?) etc in red. Has anyone any information about the best place to buy these from, have you any links to sites that offer a good range and good price?? Ive seen a few on Ebay, but it means buy one part from one, one from another etc and they are international, so am looking for somewhere that offers the whole range. Any ideas? Many thanks, Andy
  6. Hi, Actually I have just set up a photobucket; http://photobucket.com/albums/c85/Chupa1uk/Monster%20Beetle/ There are also LED lights under the rear cowel above the number plate, pic will be added. Blackfoot shell now stripped and in the garage with primer drying! Cheers, Andy
  7. I received a Blackfoot for Christmas when it first came out, and I must say it was not the cheap mans version of the Monster Beetle, it was because it came out before the Monster Beetle (I later bought the Monster Beetle shell when my Brother smashed my Blackfoot under my dads car!). I have run the Blackfoot on and off since I got it way back in the 80's and although I have had a few minor problems, it doesnt half take some serious punishment. I have recently started to restore it again and have had to replace the rear suspension holders as they had snapped where the screws hold the suspension on. I have also added an Acto Power motor, which is probably too powerful for the blackfoot gearbox, so may switch back to the stock 540 and save the Acto as fancy a new car (maybe a Madbull??), its an addictive hobby! As mentioned, the blackfoot can take a lot of punishment and took it all over the country when I used to go on holiday with parents. Im not the best driver and I have seen some pretty bad smashes, and have only ever had to replace a front steering mount before now! Although I have need a few new MSC's (have 4 spares now just in case!) and a few turned and lost screws. Its up and running again now, with Monster Beetle shell (still stripping the many many years of paint from the Blackfoot, I used to just paint over it again and again, so many layerrs! LOL!) and I am loving it again! Gave it a great soaking in some deeper than expected puddles the other night! LOL! Anyway, just thought I would just mention it for anyone looking to buy one. Cheers, Andy
  8. Great, thanks for the advice, will give it a try this weekend. Regards, Andy
  9. Hi, I have just restored my Blackfoot (with Monster Beetle shell at teh moment while stripping the Blackfoot one, hoorah for Mr Muscle!) and have uprated the motor. I bought an Acto Power Off Roader (the pink one) and it is rather fast!! However my gears keep crunching, not a nice sound, so I was wandering if anyone knew if you can get metal gears for the vintage Blackfoot? If anyone knows, then please let me know before I shred my poor little plastic ones! Cheers, Andy
