  1. I posted this on another forum, and Joe Anderson, a tamiya Rep, replied:"58070 is still produced and in stock" -Anthony
  2. I asked the seller if this was at least an early version of the kit, likely to have the plastic endbell motor and possibly the black msc, considering the asking price, and his reply was "It is the newer kit. It is not in production any longer. They are still fairly easy to gt though. I do not think they are making any more in Japan....Doug" Does anyone know if the kit is actually in production or not? The thing that gets me is that this guy's auction says he has been into rc for 20 years, I would think that someont into rc for that long would not be out to rip-off fellow hobbyists. Oh well, I reported his auctions for keyword spamming anyway. -Anthony
  3. My lunchbox is one of my favorite trucks, I've had at least one for about 12 years now. I've gone through many different hop-up configurations: dual wheels, dual shocks, modified a-arms, oil damped shocks low turn motors, ect. My favorite though is still a bone-stock truck with an MSC for wheelie-poppin fun. On my runner "truck" I have been using an HPI concept one body which is attached to the chassis with velcro at the front and rear of the chassis, which provides cushoning and with the round shape, it often ends up back on its wheels. -Anthony
  4. try this link: http://www.thundertechracing.com/axelbrc.htm it shows an aftermarket axle brace for the clod, but is a good refrence for where to mount the links on a standard 4-link setup. The upper hole is already there, it is used to mount the stock metal gearbox brace to the axle tube. The bottom hole needs to be drilled at approximately the same distance from the axle as the upper hole. -Anthony
  5. Thanks for the info. I thought I saw a similar set on a Mauri(or another of the non-mainstream brands) truck on Ebay, but of course I forgot to save the pic. They are a direct-fit for the tamiya rear end though. -Anthony
  6. I posted this in aother forum but it didn't show up. Does anyone know what vehicle these wheels/tires are for? http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=2934&id=362 Thanks, -Anthony
  7. I've got a '98 VW GTI-VR6, I'm hoping when it grows up that it turns into an S4 avant -Anthony
