  1. Moosey's was the one that caused the dilemma in the first place. It just looks so damned good. Having said that, what could be done to the Manta Ray and Dirst Thrasher to improve them even more...??? Top Force? Not sure I like it. But then most are painted in green and I don't think it flatters the shape. Maybe one that really CAN be improved (in my eyes at least).
  2. I'm seriously considering a 4wd off-roader to add to the small collection I have now (Desert Gator, TT-01 Lancia, Kyosho Ultima resto project). I've kinda narrowed it down to the Thunder Shot and the Manta Ray. I was tempted to go for big wheel with a Twin Det for a short while, but I soon started to feel better again... ;-) It's only for use as a park/garden basher, so it doesn't exactly need to be competitive. The T-Shot is tempting because of teh heritage in the chassis, and to me at least is more of a classic. But the Manta Ray has a little something about it, that maybe makes it a little more unusual. So, those of you in the know, tell me which way I should go - or at least shoot it our amongst yourselves as to which is the better car.
  3. Sorry I didn't make it gents. Last minute work required on the 1:1 scale car meant I couldn't get anywhere this morning. Typical that the problem didn't show up yesterday afternoon when I had the time to fix it... :-( Next time, definitely.
