  8. hey stuart, it's a shame i never got a video of you when your truck and you nearly went for a free fall over the edge!!
  9. yep i've got an E-Maxx aswell. it's great plain and simple. I drive mine up the side of a very steep coal spoil heap! see my showroom.
  10. you won't go wrong with either an emaxx or a modified clodbuster, TXT's are capable and look good but not really tough enough....especially when running hot motors! have a look at my showroom http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=567
  11. I got fed up listening to stulec going on about how great TC is.....and now I'm in and out of here most days!! I never used to be interested in tamiya .....but now I am, suppose that means the sites good for getting folk hooked on tamiya.
  12. Waddya reckon between Tamiya Terra Crusher T-Maxx Associated BFT Anything else? You don't want any of the above, you want one of these http://www.racing-cars.com/xtdesertstormR3e.asp I've just got one and it's guaranted to put a smile on your face insanely fast!!
  13. I know of a great place for a bit of off road trucking, might be a wee bitty far away for most people though - it's in Glasgow!! but it's the best place for playing with trucks. it's a huge big spoil heap where they've piled up the waste material from mining. check out my showroom or stu.b's for some pics
  14. Yep! i reckon that's a good idea, i would look at it .....
  15. If you want to have fun off-road you need big wheels!!! try a TXT-1 or a clod buster, or moving away from tamiya - you can't go wrong with a traxxas e-maxx. have a look at my showroom some interesting offroad action. Ross
  16. quote:Originally posted by rcgrabbagHas anyone done this? Is a special paint needed due to the tire flexing? id="quote">id="quote">I've heard stulec talking about this before, I think the best stuff to use is available in Halfords (GB) it's for lettering on real car tires, so presumable its not gonna fly off even a well used runner! hope this helps.
  17. I'll be there ..... probably coming down with Stu.B and Stulec. I don't have anything tamiya at the moment but I'll bring my emaxx to give stu.b something to race against .......or better still, any other truckers.
