  2. Hmmm, my NIB is now up there....wonder what I'll get... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...=ADME:B:LC:UK:1
  3. Thanks for the feedback - most now in my showroom - both the Taisan 911 & PIAA 911 are now on ebay - The TA01 911 should of course have been 58208....Doh.
  4. Dug through the kits last night - one I'm really curious to value is 44006 - Porsche GT1. I don't recall seeing any of these on ebay and there doesn't appear to be any on here.
  5. Thanks for the advice. I'll update my showroom soon with some pics.....
  6. Time for me to review and rationalise my kit store... So, I'm wondering what these might be worth...either here or on the bay. NIB 959 NIB Celica NIB Taisan 911 NIB Hornet NIB 1/8th IC Porsche GT1 NIB PIAA TA03 Porsche 911 NIB Sand Rover NIB Porsche Boxster NIB Porsche 911 NIB IC Porsche 911 NIB Porsche 911 TA01 New Built Dyna Storm New Built TA-04 PRO (Honda NSX) Run Terra Conquerror (with loads of hop-ups) Must take a look in the loft tonight to see what else I have...these are all I can recall right now.
  7. I'm still hunting for a reasonably priced Wild One. [] One day, I'll get a 959 - at the right price....
  8. Amazing to see the different views on this thread. Strange no mention of the older simple cars - Holiday Buggy, Sand Rover, on to the grasshopper & hornet. Personally, I always wanted a bruiser - but sold it as I was so disappointed. I think the 3 speeds are seriously over rated (why not simply buy a 1/14th truck??) The one I have fondest memories of is the Wild One. Mainly because I raced it. I recently bought a Terra Conqueror on recommendation, and with the carbon chassis I'm really impressed!! But one day.....I'll own a NIB 959. & then I'll build it & want another one.....[]
  9. OK, I seem to be in the minority here....[:I] Anyone care to sell me a NIB Wild One for £150???[]
  10. Completed... Curious that people consider the trades area as important. Do people actually read/buy/sell using this? My experience of this part of Tamiyaclub.com has been that people eithr want too much for their stuff or won't pay what your asking. I can't see why this feature isn't dropped or only used to highlight auctions. On the funding side, this may have been mentioned before, but won't Tamiya themselves offer to help? After all, this site is far more relevant for historical and present RC than their own? Or maybe I'm turning into a geek....
  11. Of course, everyone will call it the Neo sh*t......rather than shot.
  12. Small world. Darren, it's my kit you've bought and I can confirm that there are bearings included. It should be with you today/tomorrow. Enjoy!
  13. I assume it's a mechanical speed control (i.e. the servo is connected via a rod to the speed control). If so, could be one of two things:- 1) Your servo pushes the arm beyond the last "step" of the speedo (therefore no contact) Remedy: adjust the travel either via the trib on the transmitter or adjust the servo horn. 2) The 3rd step of the speed controller is faulty Remedy: check connection under the speed control or replace speed control Hope this helps!!
  14. I've almost finished building my NIB Terra Conqueror but found the steering tie-rod to be missing. (It should have been in the tool bag!) Looking at similar cars I wondered if the steering mechanism from the Top-Force would work, and if so, where I could find a suitable hop-up? Alternatively, if anyone has a spare tie-rod (links the two steering arms) I'd appreciate an e-mail. (gary@garybridgeman.com) Thanks!
  15. Most of the mags have some detail - I've not come across a listing on the web. The Sandown Symposium is probably one of the best I've been to - Early may this year. North Weald wings & wheels is OK. (July/August I believe)
