I have just bought a lobo 2 and must admit this thing is so much fun. its a small rc buggy and uses a 1/10 scale 7.2 volt battery pack so just imagine a 1/14 scale buggy with 10th scale power and this was done in the 80's and is still quite fast. and looks really great with full suspension - high reving mabuchi motor and two speed select on rear gearbox with turbo speed on controler-nikko meant business when they made this one let me tellya. I own a mini T and have to say that this old lobo is more fun than the newer losi mini. if you can think of a better vintage small rc thats more thrilling please let me know cause i have drove them all folks and have more fun time behind the wheel of this buggy than anything i have driven. So if you can get your hands on one i recommend getting one you will not be disappointed. just try not to wreck it as parts are like impossible to find.

Hi, yeah nikko can get serious when it comes to powerful rc I had a nikko scorpion and it was nice it didnt have the 540 but did have the 380 rs mabuchi and was quite fast, i own two one yellow and one blue missing body bought off ebay. My fave is the nikko magnum this thing was light and fast! but i did have a 1/10 scale big beast with the twin 540 set up and it was cool-not a quick truck but very torqey. this was a nikko blueprinted design and sold through radio shack i sold this truck for around $100 on ebay about a year ago and bought for i think 10 bucks from a guy who just had no idea what he had so now i scope around and search. i have one truck on ebay that is basically a little one with 280 motor looks alot like the beast. its a tandy model and scientific toy shared design. gotta love those big nikko trucks-right! joe
