Ok everyone, as im revamping the database to be the most comprehensive database around I need your help. I would like if possible for members to complete the spreadsheet with the details required for one or as many chassis they have and would like to do. This information includes. Part numbers Descriptions Purchase price (If know) Hop up (yes/no) etc and any other relevant information. As there are so many kits and parts I am unable to complete this on my own, so all help is appreciate. Credit will be given. The spreadsheet can be downloaded here. Whats so good about the frog?

When I raced my TL01 almost every turn the car would roll! I even had anti-roll bars and oil shocks etc.. The only shell I found that let me come 2nd at least was the opel manta! (Yellow mobil1/piaa I think) Anyone got a picture of this shell?

I am in need of a new rear wing for my F103RS chassis car as mine as snaped off and all th eglueing in the world hasnt helped! I am also after shells to fit it as well. Thanks Stu

I used to help out in a mates shop and do theie website a while ago! I used to get discount on everything and have an "Account". Still owe like £30 now and he closed down years back! Now we have like 4 modle shops locally (within 20mins) two are like 10mins away and not one of them stock Tamiya RC stuff. I now find it hard to get any tamiya spares other than the internet! I cant even get Tamiya paints! I think there is a shop in Basingstoke that has the Tamiya kits/spares/paints, but that is like an hrs drive each way, so would cost just as much as paying for postage. :-(

Are they worth anything? I have a 1999 Tamiya worldcup VCD with 24 new cars and hopups etc. with video footage of the eurocup/worldcup for the year.

How much you looking at? Been looking at the Yokomo drift kit! if it a good price migh be intrested!

What differences are there between a normal car and a drift car? Is it a part or just the way they are driven?

Good Idea Pocket PC! Mind you the backbone is an access DB so u can just use that on the PDA! Mind you its not as friendly looking and easy to use. Any help in getting all of the part images would be nice as I lost my zip file with over 300parts in it

I dont bother with these now, as they never usually finish producing the run. so you will prob get 95% of the car complete and the mag will stop.

A few years back I developed a database system for my A-level computer project. It was for the Tamiya cars and I got an A for it! I also had Tamiya in Europe and HPI order a copy from me after a rave review in RC Racer mag. Now after getting back into RCs I am thinking in revising it and adding new features. It can be used for any Car but the database comes installed with a 100 or so tamiya records. Main features include * Full searching by Car chassis, Type, Hop-ups, part number, price. * List all Chassis that a part fits. * List all hop-ups for any chassis * image of all parts * PLU input Tade/Retail information (Designed for shops) * Full print outs of all parts and information for chassis etc. I spent two years developing and programming this and would like to add the finishing touches. I would like your views on what you think could be put in / taken out etc. I am going to rework the GUI and make it look a lot more PRO! (Nice new VB/.net features ) Originally this software was sold for £80 per copy to the shops. Download the original demo and see what you think.
