  2. Hi just wondering what information any of you guys might have on the kyosho beetle. they intrigue me[] I missed out on one a couple of years ago, and now just figured I may try to find one. what is the going rate$$$. anyone making a repro body?? just any general info would be appreciated. what to look for etc. i have no idea what the market or availability on Kyoshos are, the only kyosho I have is my skyline body[] and it sits on a top force chassis. thanks matt
  3. Another good alternative are the Proline waffle tires, pretty thick rubber and fairly cheap, I have gotten a few pairs used from cars on ebay, and they all seemed to hold up well. I imagine a new pair would last years[] tower has them http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti00...=LXDT89&P=7 for some reason tower picked a pair that has molding flaws for the photo[^o)] You can also modify these to fit the original rc10 rear tires
  4. Hey Jim, I used to be into the 40k stuff big time, mostly model building, I did start to build up a Tau army before I really got back into the vintage rc, I even started to build up a Tau ambassador ship using a Starwars Drone carrier. Shoot me an email and I will box it up for Shodog junior and maybe you guys can finish it;) It has just been collecting dust and I need the room talk soon matt

  8. No pressure from me whatever date works for you guys:) I could use the extra time to work on my cars as well:) []
  9. hI james, sorry man I am using the only one I have, I am actually borrowing some pieces from a couple of my shelf cars to get my runner going[V] But It will be worth it:) I am trying to sort the steering bits right now, as soon as they are done then it is body work time[]
  10. Hey Jun Well i have a few M chassis Road warrior shells I may run, I will try to clean them up a bit, I have one that is a real monster LOL!! I just got a Xpress chassis from the bay, and i am trying to find a Kyosho Fiat 500 body for it:)) As far as dates go I am pretty much open, I really hope I can have my scorcher done in time, I just got a radio box to keep the salt water out:) if not I may have to bring my yellow and black super champ[] and maybe my bruiser as well, i havent done the body yet so if it gets a little scuffed no worries. This is great!!!![^][^][^][^][^] I am really excited about getting together. Look forward to meeting you and james face to face[] I hope you can make it Jim!![]
  11. I am assembling my scorcher this weekend, So count me in when you guys figure a date, Oh and Jun I finished two of my M-chassis so let me know when you guys are going to do a parking lot run at the big M [] have a lok in my showroom for my mini and fiat[]
  12. I would use the rear trunk line as the point to cut from (these are both the same on the the MB/BB and SS body), then back it with some thin styrene sheet. But I wouldnt cut up the Blitzer, put a posting for a wrecked body in the traderoom, someone mayhave a basket case body with front damage that may make a suitable doner[] then you would have the Blitzer body for another project
  13. I will have to skip on the 26th and 27th[V] I have my daughters 4th birthday on Saturday and Easter on Sunday Honest guys I asked the wife but after i woke up in the Emergency room[] I kind of saw things her way LOL!! But rest assured i will definitely be making an effort to get to these meets, and a monthly meet would be fantastic:) Maybe we could get t-shirts made up and everything HAHA!!![8D]
