Bruiser Restoration Questions
bruiserbuilder replied to Polypedates's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
I chrome plate all of the restorations. I quit polishing because the pot metal parts tarnishes so fast. I have seen parts freshly sand blasted that look really nice but you should clear coat them shortly after blasting them. if you choose to polish, I used to use the dremel jewelers polish. -
Bruiser Restoration Questions
bruiserbuilder replied to Polypedates's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
well, www.kope.com/bruiser used to have a great pdf file for a tranny rebuild and exploded drawings. some one here may have it saved. I have lots of spare tranny parts if you need a specific internal gear or what not. you can also find a bunch of bruiser fans at www.rcmt.net I have www.bruiserbuilder.com & www.foemodels.com where you can find parts and such for the vintage 3 speeds. here is a picture of a bruiser restoration that I just finished: www.bruiserbuilder.com/lanny2.htm email me if you have questions or need assistance! -

wanted manuals for hilux, blazer, sand scorcher
bruiserbuilder replied to Bud442's topic in Trade Archive
Hey Bud, I have a nice original HIlux manual. Drop me an email if you are interested! -
You know what, my toes are kind of hurting here.........lol Actually, the deal sounds really good, thats very cheep for a rtr 3 speed. The only reason a 3 speed tranny will run in 4wd full time, in all gears, is to swapped around the springs and shaft inside the tranny.

bruiserbuilder replied to bruiserbuilder's topic in General discussions
Thanks for the reply, placing the Jeep logo on the decal is not a problem! I will be glad to do it! I may have sell you an oroginal Bruiserbuilder and "give" you another one with Jeep on it. This would be the only way to get around the Jeep copy rite protection. Drop me an email and we can work out the details! -
