  1. looks like a painted bruiser shock, installed upside down, with a team associated ball end.
  2. When purchased together, I will sell the decal sheet and a powder coated roll bar for $165.00 plus shipping also, sheet metal wings will be available soon for the blazer!!!
  3. I use Castrol SUPER CLEAN degreaser,in the purple jugg. I simply pour 3 or 4 gallons into a 5 gallon bucket and let the body parts soak for a few days. I have done this more than 20 times and everytime the parts come out smooth and clean with little to no effort. I would not try this with lexan body parts, but for standard Tamiya plastic bodies, its the only choice for me!
  4. Hey JIm, I can help you out there. Drop me an email whne you have a chance!!
  5. I once saw a bruiser wiith an RC10 grear box in it, at my local track. It ran super smooth, but the gearing needed to be tweeked some. I forget exactly what happened to the truck, as it was in 1988

Let me know your thoughts, [link]rollbarhttp://www.members.cox.net/fscott94/R&B2.jpg[link] [link]http://www.bruiserbuilder.com/images/photos/rollbar&button.jpg[/link]
  7. Here are some pics of a bronco conversion that I did for a fellow about 1 1/2 years ago:
  8. Yep, Cole had acquired a lot of very trucks in the last few years. HE really needs a good website, he has some thing like 12 or 15 custom trucks.
  9. Yep, I hear all of you guys and I personally only drive one of my Bruisers. I like to think of my 3 speeds as models. To help me fight the urge to drive them, I keep the tranny parts in a zip lock bag, in a box, in the attic.
  10. a blazer front grill should fetch about $30.00 or more if it's new. I will sell you repro light covers for $12.00 plus shipping!! Forrest
  11. So, are these still available??
  12. Hi gang, I am in need of busted up bruiser, Hilux, or Mountaineer cabs. Let me know what you have!
  13. well, in the early 1980's I was most likely playing PONG on my Atari or playing Baseball on my brothers Intelevision! In 1986 I was bashing every penny out of the bruiser that I had worked all summer to purchase. In 1987 my father surprised my with a brand new Turbo Charged Dodge Shadow coupe!!!! Needless to say, my Bruiser didn't get used very much once I got my 1:1 car. In 1989 I was graduated High School.
  14. The Hilux also shares the same roll bar as the original Black Foot!
  15. Hey guys, I agree with Theo. Using after market parts should not be a sin, but selling them as NEW would be. For those of you that won't consider replicated parts, just wait untill my chrome plated steel roll bars are ready for the Blazing Blazer! Oh yeah, Roby, that looks like a quality machined bumper. and the quality looks nice too! Forrest
  16. I think that Tamiya over produced the tail light lenses. With this in mind they cut the slot in the body so that the tail lights would crack when the bed twisted the wrong way. Well, at least thats the way they seem to do things with General Motors 1:1 cars...............lol
  17. YEs, the back wall will pop out of the hilux cab and it will mount up to a bruiser or mounty bed. The body lines on the HIlux cab are just a tad bit lower than the body lines on a bruiser and mounty rear body parts.
  18. hi gang, I have another run of aluminum shift gates for sale. The will work great for semi tractor trucks also. Check out my for sale/trade section:
  19. hey bud, I do not have a rear bumper, but I do have a nise set of chrome plated rear bumper mounts. email me if you are interested!
  20. hey bud, email me! I have some very nice decal sheets. I may even have some of the other items also.
  21. I powder coated parts on my blazing blazer, and I am in the process of poder coating a bunch of Bruiser parts for a guy. looks good and tough too!
  22. I purchased that very same trailor about 12 or 15 years ago. My intensions were to pull my RC10 behind my bruiser, but I never finsihed the it. It was sold without axles or wheels. email me if you want it.
  23. I use a heat gun to heat the plastic. Works quick and easy on typical model glue, Super glue on the other hand will require alot more time and possibly the use of a tiny flat head screw driver to get between the tho items.
  24. Well, let's see. If a new in bag tranny sells for $90.00, and a new in bag 750 motor sells for $50.00, it seems to me that you are $5.00 ahead of the game. I would offer the man $100.00 cash; I can almost assure you that he will take it! Look at it from a business standpoint. The owner most likely paid $65.00 or $70.00 for the item 10 or 12 years ago. We all know that he does not have a demand for it, so offer him some cash man! The wost he can say is NO. If in fact he does say NO, leave him your name and number along with your offer. The next time he is stessing to make payroll, he will remember your offer. As a matter of fact, you can most likely get it for $75.00 if you play your cards rite. [xx(]
