Hi all, I've had a clear out at my mum and dads loft and found my old original toys. I've got about 80 figures from the late 70's to the mid 80's most have his or hers weapons etc and are in verious conditions from mint to played with but no rubbish loads of different sorts inc some rare i.e luke storm trooper complete and some not i.e Darth vader. I also have a very good condition AT-AT. Looking to trade for anything vintage tamiya related e-mail me for pics or info. Thanks, Lee

Hi All, The Renault 5 Turbo and its sister on roader the VW Golf GR2 are essentially the same car the only differance is the body shell thats it. I've always liked these models for there scarceness and there body realism and up to yet i think i've owned up to 10 different models of both the Golf and the Reno (got 4/5 at the moment). I've given the pics a quick look over and your Reno looks good and if it was free then thats even better but here is what i know about your model. The motor is correct it should be a standard silver can, the front bumper is off a old f2 model but looks like it fits ok and if you are going to run it then you will need something to take the hits, the original ABS bumpers (part# SP-114) are quiet scarce and can fetch a premium price so if you can source another bumper to fit then thats good (i've found that the Can Am Lola front bumper is a bolt on replacement that looks real good. The front tyres (DIPLOS where made of foam with a strip of rubber running though the middle) are another item that is getting hard to get hold of now but in saying that there are a lot of other items that will fit and look good as a substitute. The only other parts i can see are missing are he driver part and the driver stay (Rammers fave) The driver stay is a nightmare to get hold of as these parts where often lost and i don't think it could be bought as a spare part.
