  1. Mr. Sato presented Durga 2
  2. If you remove its brushes and strike the rotor-shaft from front-bell side by the hammer, you can remove its end-bell easily. It is not a joke. And after replace your rotor and assembled them, please strike again both tubs of can and fix end-bell carefully. Please try, it is very easy!!
  3. Because they have to keep a lot of stock of spire spike for their "XB"'s spare parts, I think you don't have to worry about your rear tires. This picture is sure?? Plasma edge means another Gravel hound? ...Wow
  4. Everything is going well?

How about your preparations for "Real M"?

  5. Thank you, guys. DT02MS which I saw there had no radio as display-model. I noticed its springs are different from this official photo. and cylinder is more blacker? Umm ????

  10. I think Tamiya will release "DB01 Aluminum Damper Set" soon, even if it is same as 501's because Tamiya is very earnest and straight company. 501's shock seems welcomed for other makes user too. my friend Hirano drove Cyclone D4 at IFMAR Worlds. He is using 501 shocks for his Cyclone and says HB's shock is "no good". So, HB's shocks were set on his Cyclone during only coloring-contest.
  11. I'm sorry, I have no idea. There is no French 3rd-party's information in Japan. I saw Mr.Hupo who was the fastest 501X driver in IFMAR Worlds, but I could not talk to anyone of TRF except their coordinator because Saturday their paddock seemed really dark, and some of them looked nervous. Of course, everybody had understood well the cause of their bad mood and could not approach them that day, me too. at the time, in team Novak's pit, they were enjoying music or Youtube or was playing with his Godzillas. I will visit to Novak at first if I change my job.
  12. Yes, also I think DF-02 is not bad chassis even if many parts are too flexible. Because its drivability is gentle enough for beginners too. Durga has very sophisticated features from DF-02 but I think its outline is not so different from DF-02 at each stock conditions. By the way, I paid 18,000 yen ( = $150 ) for my DF-03. Umm, where am I?
  13. Hello all. Thank you but sure this Frog is not mine, it's an other person's work as Bakaguyjean-san said. Suddenly I saw this frog's cool pics at rc shop and of course soon I got that magazine. I was really shocked by this surprise attack !! because when I was stopping my Hotshot project for Tamiya Grand-prix All Japan Championships. In fact, my charge-editor of RC-world asked me that they want to show my hotshot on their September issue. but it was postponed to October issue for my circumstances. I had to handle many schedules, so I had to make my Hotshot in only 2 weeks. so I was working until 3 a.m. every day. and my Hotshot's detail contained my greeting to the man who built the Frog 4WD, because I felt that our spirits are similar. After a while, I had contact to the man = Mr. PMMC. and we praised each other. now, we are friends. I wish he join the Tamiyaclub, too. Thank you!
  14. Oh, no no no, lol

Do you go to Tamiya fair 2007 Shizuoka?

  15. Hi, The supplier of Acto-power motors has already gone bankrupt, so please never forget every Acto-powers has fatal cooling problems if you change genuine rotor into other. TZ, BZ and RZ are using just same cans and magnets. I think so. but stopper rings are different material and only stand-up brush version has a steel ring. and it seem steel ring give much torque as you know. By the way, I chose RZ as training motor. (because I love its red graphic.) but it became soon a junk. first, I had to disassemble also junk TZ to transplant its brush holders. After assembled I shaved endbell's nipple, and my RZ changed adjustable. Of course I changed also a couple of its metal bearings to ball bearings. Last Sunday, I cleaned commutators of various used rotor which came from my junk yard up by lathe, to put into my excentric RZ. After all, my RZ has adjustable endbell and stand-up brush, and 12T-rotor inside. I could get new motor in totally cheap and it's my personal Tamiya Ecology Movement too.
  16. Hi there, Mr. Kimura who is manager of Team Azarashi is one of my friends and he is distributing some of hop-ups for 501X. I talked to him at IFMAR WORLDS 2007 and he was saying separate decks are very effective about improvement of its rear belt durability. Please check following link out and contact him if you want this. Item # AZ-0014 Flex Top Deck http://www.team-azarashi.com/prodenglish.html cheers "Grahoo" Masatoshi
  17. Yes, I was surprised by "Plasma edge". DF-02 seems still alive! However I have no idea whether DF-02 can participate again in Tamiya Grand-prix in the future.
  18. Oh, please don't mind. I really want to say thank you for notifying here. I become shy sometimes and cannot post because not good at English. Anyway... thank you. Then, this is an irrelevant topic but, would you check this DT-02MS too? It will be delivered with same feature (shocks, springs and some hop-ups) as this, its coloring must be also same. Of course some stripes are reproduced by decals. I am wondering slightly why Tamiya want to release such a limited edition, but it looks cool.
  19. Invisible from my vid, but there were many humps of wood blocks like the washboard in the inside of both corners before and after tabletop of infield track. so DB01 looks like rodeo a little. Also I tried same line but my DF-03 bounced and could not go so fast. I tested his Durga after the race and tried same line he ran. and this "Sith Mobile" showed good footwork and high-stability and drivability at there. I was surprised a little. Oops, but I'm never a Tamiya's salesman. hehe.
  20. Hello there, I am glad to notice my report seems to have been able to help you. I am feeling Tamiya's design is getting better and useful for us after 501X. How do you think about it? Especially, such a separate-mount system promises expansibility of settings as you know. of course, it no needs to disassemble and replace its gearbox and expose its greasy bowels on dusty and windy track even if we broke its leg mounts by mistake. This is very important evolution from their DF or DT series, I think so. I think even if they rise its price 20 dollars or more, Tamiya had better to add universals to this babe.
  21. Hi all. I just knew about such a nice great event today by great movie of it. I am sad slightly that I'm not an English man. ;-) Of course, I enjoyed the its video a lot. Cheers for all the people![]
  22. Hi Alan san , Simon san Your club seems very pleasant. I wish that you will enjoy Mini Rally. and I look forward to your reports also. I also want to know about the tyre which you use at the wood floor.
  23. Hi Gruntfuggly-san, Sunktothenutz-san. Thank you for visit to my site. Thank you for kind words. There is no special reason that I am not using its holder. Sometimes I want to get it but always it is "sold out" when I go to shop. LOL Let's enjoy Mini Rally all together around the world!
  24. Hi, minijosh. Of course it was true Tamiya's event. Last year I was surprised when I noticed that race from their registration form on their site. I was afraid no one wants to enter Mini-Rally except me and some my friends. But I didn't have to worry. There were 48 entries to Mini-Rally class that day. To tell the truth, there were 60 registrations but 12 people could not come to Tamiya circuit by heavy snow. Also Tamiya's staffs were surprised by this unexpected happening because they thought less than 20 people in Mini class. It was the dream race to me and my Rally friends. We had to make own Rally-Brocks for that Tamiya's event. Perhaps, it was just a barrier of that event to some people. I believe more people can enjoy the race like this if Tamiya would start to sell their Mini Rally tyres. At the other event, we are often using HPI or Speed mind's Rally tyres. But of course, we must use Tamiya's Rally Blocks at Tamiya's event. I think Mini Rally should not become too competitive because its event must be open-event for many people(contain women and children) . So, we should think about its rules carefully. Thank you
