  1. Those were the good ol' days!! I am thinking about modifying my Wild One with a flux capacitor, so that it will take me back in time to the year 1982! hehe!!! I'll bring everyone back some goodies from all of the hobby shops from around the world circa 1982!! haha! -Big Al
  2. WOW! I remember going to the department store and seeing a brand new "Red Rider BB Gun" in the window. All of us kids crowded around it and were in awe! haha! Reading Supershot's last post reminded me of the movie "A Christmas Story". You seem a little strange SuperShot! Do you own a Monster Beetle or do you just dream about it? I admit that the Monster Beetle is a great car and it looks great too. But it is not an alternative to the Sand Scorcher, because they are 2 totally different cars. To each is own Supershot! I like em both, but I will never own a Sand Scorcher, due to the high price that it fetches! -Big Al
  3. Hey everyone, I was just wondering what ever happened to the seller "RCParts" on EBay?? He was a great seller. His name is Kim, and I am sure that many of you have dealt with him in the past. I noticed that he hasn't had anything up for sale in a LONG time. I wonder if he just stopped selling or if something happened to him! Hopefully he will be back! If anyone knows anything, reply to this post! Big Al
  4. Hmmmm...I have a few GREAT bargains: 1.) NIB Nissan R91CP - $103.00 2.) NIB Hornet - $217.00 3.) NIB Madcap - $65.00 4.) NIB Sonic Fighter Complete kit - $105.00 The only reason I bought the Sonic Fighter kit is because it seemed rare. It came with a Tamiya Adspec Radio, servo, and CRP unit, Tamiya 1200 MaH battery, and a Tamiya charger. The box art is different too, and the box is alot bigger than the original. Seemed like a good buy, eventhough it is the Sonic Fighter! hehe!
  5. Here is a pic of the body kit: http://www.geocities.com/andersona8/r91cp.htm]
  6. Yes this body fits on the Group-C chassis. All of the hardware parts are there, including the rear wing mounts. I am not located in the UK, I am in Philadelphia, PA in the USA! What kind of NIB stuff would you be willing to trade?
  7. I used a dry brushing technique on my Sonic Fighter kit. I figured if I was gonna mess one up, it should be the Sonic Fighter! haha. For those of you that don't know what drybrushing is: ya take a regular paint brush, dip it in white paint, then stroke the brush on a paper towel or napkin until it seems like nothing is left on the brush. Then very lightly run the brush along the letters on the tires. It should work pretty well! This should only probably be used for shelf display cars, because the paint would definitely come off on runners! Hope this helps! If ya need more of an explanation, just do a search on the internet for drybrushing! It works great on painting the driver figures as well!! -Big Al
  8. Hey Everyone, I have a NIB Nissan R91CP LeMans body that I am willing to sell or trade. If anyone is interested, please respond to this post! -Big Al
  9. Hey Everyone, I just won a NIB Hornet for $217.50. The only thing that is missing from the kit is the box wrench! Not a bad deal eh?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...1920449267&rd=1 -Big Al
  10. Hello Everyone, This is my first post on the site, and I must say that this is the most brilliant Tamiya site ever! It is very resourceful! Anyways, I was just wondering what a NIB Nissan R91CP body set would go for on EBay? I have only seen one on there 1 time, so i am assuming that they are pretty rare. I think this is one of the best bodies that Tamiya has put out to date. I love the seperate light fixtures that are installed under the body. So, anyways, I was just wondering what some of you think this body would sell for? Thanks, BIG AL
