Hey All, Tower Hobbies has the Lunch Box and Grasshopper listed on their site already! The price of the Grasshopper is $84.99 and the Lunch Box is $94.99!! I guess they are taking pre-orders now! I guess it will be a hwile until they get them in stock. The Hornet still hasn't come into stock at Tower yet. Is that because they are filling all of the pre-orders?? -Al

Hey Everyone, I was just wondering if any of you have used the Tamiya Spray Work Basic airbrush and compressor and if so, does it work well? The reason i am asking is because I am thinking about getting one because I just moved into an apartment and I cannot use my regular airbrush and compressor and I was looking for something portable. Is it capable of spraying fine lines? Any reviews are appreciated! Thanks, Al

Hey Beetlebanger, I am confused now...did he pay you for the car or didn't he?? I thought he paid you and then scammed paypal into giving him his money back! But in your last post, you said ya made a few bucks on the sale.

Well, it looks like he responded to a few of our inquiries on eBay! The guy seems like a jerk. He wants to know the uRL of Tamiyaclub so that he can "notify the police of your fraudulent lies" He said basically that you were upset because you didn't know that the car was worth more then he paid for it! haha! I really hope you can stick it to this guy!

Hey, I was watching Judge Judy yesterday and there was a case on there similar to your incident! This guy bought a jet ski from somebody on eBay. He paid the guy 3 payments, took the jet ski and then stopped payment on the checks and also got some money back from PayPal. He was trying to say that the JetSki wasn't working properly or something to that effect. SO the idiot tried to keep the jet ski and his money and thought that everything was okay! Well, Judge Judy laid it on him pretty hard and told him that the basically stole the jet ski! She made him pay the guy the full amount! Maybe you should take similar action in small claims court! Or better yet, call the Judge Judy show and fight it out on there so that we can all see!!! I think you have enough proof to go after the guy!

I am really curious to know what he wrote back to you when you emailed him about it. You said he basically told you to shove it! Anywhere in that email did he fess up to what he did. I am really hoping that you can get this guy because I am really ticked off that somebody has the nerve to actually do what he did! Keep us posted!!

Wow! I feel for ya man! One time when I was browsing eBay, I noticed a new XR-311 up for sale and the pics that the seller used were actual pics of my XR-311 that he took from my website! So I inquired about it to make sure that he wasn't trying to sell a car that wasn't even in his possession. He turned out to ba really nice guy and posted $50 into my PayPal account for letting him use the pictures! I told him that he could use them if he wanted to, but he insisted on paying me for them! Anyways, I hope you can find a way to stick it to this seller! Keep us posted.

Hey Everyone, I just got a new re-issue Brat body and I saw some pics of a member's XC chassis with the Brat body one it. I was just wondering what mods need to be done to shorten the wheelbase of the XC chassis. Also, I placed the body on the chassis and fit some TLT wheels on it and it looks AWESOME!!! Almost reminds me of a smaller Bruiser. I guess it is the chrome wheels. Has anyone fit these wheels onto this chassis yet and if so, do ya have pics?? I wish I could post some pics in here but I cannot figure out how to do it! -Al

The Desert Gator's body is very similar to the Astute's body! I think it look like it could be a pretty cool car! I am so psyched about all these new releases and re-releases!!!

Well, it's been about 2 months now and the body set still hasn't arrived yet. I got in contact with Jason (Jason's Store) and he told me he would ship out another body set if the original does not arrive by Monday! He is a world class seller on eBay!! -Al

Ugh! I wish Tamiya would just make the cheesy cars like the Road Hawk, Super Fighter G, Land Zypher the XB ones. I am really mad that they made both of the classic Mini's XB. Since they did that, they better re-release kit versions of them too! I think the whole XB/RTR thing stinks. Just my opinion and thanks for letting me vent!! -Al

I know what ya mean! I have never owned a 3 speed and I probably never will because of the price that they go for on eBay! I would love to have one and experience building one for the first time, but it seems unlikely! This hobby has put a HUGE hole in my pocket as well. This is how I look at it, if I have $1500 to spend on the hobby, I would most likely get a few vintage kits rather then get one 3 speed kit. Hopefully someday I will have the chance to own one!! -Al

In my honest opinion, this car looks like a cheap toy! It is on the same level as the Mad Fighter, Fighter Buggy, Mad Bull, etc. If the cost is $75 or below in the States, then I will get one just to have it. Just my 2 cents!! -Al

He did say the Brat body was going to be shiiped using a different method. That was over a month ago though! Should I be worried that it is held up in customs or it lost or etc..... I hope it gets here soon!! -Al

Hey All, Another thing that could be causing this problem is that part B11 might be broken or missing! If you go to the manual section of Tamiyaclub.com and look at the Clodbuster manual page 13 step 26 will show you which part I am talking about. I remember when I pulled my old Clod out of the garage after more than 10 years of sitting, I had the same problem. The truck would not steer at all. That is when I noticed that part B11 was broken. It is the part that holds the gearbox to the chassis and is very fragile! Take a look and see if this your problem! -Al

Hey Everyone, I got a bunch of kits and a Brat body from Jason's Store. The kits have all arrived (3 kits in each box), but the body has not arrived yet. He told me that he shipped the body using a different method of shipping. Does anyone have any estimates as to how long it would take to ship the body to the USA?? I am getting a bit worried because it hasn't arrived yet and Jason is a top notch seller. I hope it didn't get lost in the mail!!! -Al

Dude....your best bet is to have it shipped to your job and unpack the kit and put the parts in your work bag!! I go through the same thing that you do! My girl will see a new kit and ask me, "When did ya get that one?" I always reply with, "Oh that kit?? I have had that one for a while. I just never built it!" The funny thing is that I have just got about 7 new kits and 7 new controllers and I put them in the den (which is basically our home office) and she hasn't even noticed them yet! haha! I am sure she will say something when I go to build one this weekend though! The women just don't understand! -Al

I bought mine from Tower Hobbies and it DID come with an ESC!!!

That sucks! He could have bought almost 3 for the price that he paid for it. I wonder how he is going to feel when and if he finds out that the kit is so cheap.

Hey Everyone, Has anyone tried to make custom headlight buckets for the Porsche 956? I don't want to paint the lights black or just leave them clear. I wanna add as much realism to the car as possible! If anyone has any tips for doing this, please let me know!! Thanks! -Al
