  1. Hi have clod parts for sale, this was a project that I started but have now got to sell it, not happy about that but hey life must go on. The parts are, Cobra chassis, Axles complete with the offset spacers to suit the wheels (these are the good ones from the states), Link rods from chassis to axles (missing some of the ball ends) The wheels, and the shocks. I have paid £150 for all of this and would sell it for the same amount. plus the postage (I would only charge the amount of the cost of the postage and no more, as I have been ripped off by this before and would not do that to anyone.) If interested mail me at kadtoy@aol.com, I will be here all weekend to answer mail, and may even be able to send some pics. But away from monday till wednesday. The chassis can be seen in one of the pics in my showroom in the landrover project. Dave
  2. I wanted to order a twin det, mailed then on the wednesday morning, got a reply that afternoon saying it was out of stock, got another mail saying they had found one and did I want it, all in the same day. Ordered it on Thursday and it arrive on the Monday morning. What an outstanding service. Four days from there to the UK, and I have waited for two weeks for parts to be delivered in the UK. Well done Stella a great service.
  3. Hi there Stella models Good to hear that more kits are coming in, How much plus postage to the UK for the: 58368 M03M Suzuki Swift Super 1600 + ESC Dave
  4. Thanks for letting us know Chris, Hope all goes well and you manage to get the back up done. Good luck mate.
  5. And theres me thinking I was the only one having these problems, I have nevr been able to click on a members name with out an erroe message coming up, Thought it was just normal.
  6. How can I call myself a collector? More like a hoarder........[] I started with my NIB Focus 03, and since then have managed to get a wild ceptor (Love the drive of it) and a NIB Twin Detonator. Thouse are the only NIB I have, but.... I also have five other chassis that I have managed to get of the -bay, That is the part I love buying a bargin, it arriving, me stripping it, cleaning every part. Ordering new parts to return it back to new. I love the lottle projects that I have on the go. Currently streaching a pumpkin to fit a TL01..... Call it strange but I have a picture in my head and am heading to create it. would love to make this one a drifter. Have a Kamtec Landrover going on to a cobra clod chassis, and currently refurbishing a Manta Ray. so all busy here. Will post the projects in my Show room when complete. Keep collecting.
  7. Hey Corpse thrower, Go for it you know you want to....... I agree with the other lads, make sure you use a good undercoat, and more importantly be patient. Wait for it to dry before you start to lay coat after coat on, it has to cure. You will have to let us know how it went, I have a hard body that I want to paint and would love to know how the flip flop paint went on, have used it on my lexan shell and loved it and think it would suit the model that I am building at the moment. Good luck with the painting. Dave
  8. I think it is do-able. If the parts have been done in a 3D Cad package they could be ex an NC program for machining, The quicker solution is this. Export or save the parts in .stl format, this is the script for 3D printing in lazer sintered nylon or a suitable plastic. Take these printed parts to a foundry and ask them to mould them out of Ali. The critical parts to be machines after the moulding are the mating faces and the shaft bores. so the face should be over size on the stl and the bores a bit under size to allow for finial machining. The rest can be polished.
  9. Hey there, nice to hear from you in Canada, That seems to be the same over the pond here in the UK, I have just been in contact with the rep from their UK supplier, I got there name off the USA list. Well the lovely lady there says "yes" she can get the parts but there is an "8 week" lead time on them. Well me being me I wan't them now or as soon as possible. Then I contacted another of our suppliers that I have delt with here in the UK and they quoted me Double the cost that the parts (and a "6 week" lead time), I wanted were in the States, and the best part is this............... In the States they come as a wheel bag (4 wheels in bag) and a tyre bag (4 tyres in the bag) Well this UK site doubled the cost and said there would only be 2 in each bag so to my reconing that would make the price x 4. I will get hold of a contact in the states and send him some money so he can order them and post them to me, I don't mind the double postage when they are truing to rip us off. Thanks for your reply and hope you have better luck getting parts than I am. Cheers Dave
  10. Hi there They are from the 58154 M1025 Hummer. Scale 1:12 Chassis TA-01 / TA-02 Cheers Dave
  11. Hi there Am after some wheels and tyres. Tried in the Uk to locate them can't find any, so tried tamiya usa, they have them in stock. I have found that buying parts from outside the UK works out cheaper than in the UK. This is only for certain parts, not all are cheaper. I will give the sites in HK a go. I was so impressed with Stella, I ordered my Twin Detonator last week and got it yesterday. very happy. Have you got any links to HK parts suppliers. Am after 9335205 and 9445529 (wheels and tyres) Cheers Dave
  12. I have just been trying to buy some parts off Tamiya USA, Not able to buy from them....................... Does anyone else have problems trying to buy pats from the Tamiya USA site, If you don't please let me know How to go about it, I am in the UK.
  13. Hi Guys, I am in need of info, I am building up a model, the wheels that i would like to use are the sand scorcher / ford ranger. Must be dished and be able to have off road sand blaster tyres. What would you recomend and where can I get some. The wild ceptor wheels ( deep dished ones fit so if I could get four of them I would be happy. Any info would be good. Dave
