Some interesting points here. Surely though there must be a head unit that plays mp3s, that has the option of fitting a changer or maybe even changers that support MP3? Can you imagine, a 10 disc changer with 10 discs full of mp3s? Thats alot of music!

I had thought about the PS2 route especially as I plan to get a PSX when they come out in summer. However the PS2 doesnt have particularlly good vibration tolerance so could be a bit of a night mare in the car. Does that pioneer head unit have a disc changer add on option? Cheers Si.

Right heres one for any of you ICE bods, I was just about to put in my order for a new head unit and boot changer when I thought, hang on, I would also like the option of DVD, something to keep the nipper happy on those long journeys. So, I got to thinking and then looking at what was available and now my head is spinning. It seems I can go for either some sort of portable option, which is quite cheap, but then I would still be buying the head and changer aswell, or I can go a route where I get a head unit that plays cd,MP3, DVD etc, buy an add on screen and then if I want further down the line buy a changer too. But the initial outlay is more expensive Basically what I am after is opionions, advice, good (UK based) websites with cheap prices, and anything else that might be appropriate. Ta muchly, Si

Mike and Jim are right its a good way to kill a friendship. However....it can also make one stronger, I have been in both situations, lived with a good friend and it went sour (although he did break the code of mates and their sisters) and I have also lived with a mate of 13 years and we had a blast, loads of parties and laughs, he is going to be my best man at my wedding in Sept. Depends on the people I guess. Now I live with the Mrs to be, so obviously all fun and parties are off! []

I have a bigwig sitting there waiting to be finished, trying to get a steering rack for it, at least thats what I think its called. (part C1 in the manual). Aside from that I am going to continue my mission to find a lunchbox. I will do it.....oh yes!
