Will try to edit a short vid to give you an idea of how "fast" is a Lunchbox (Pumpkin...) with an 80T, but i can assure you is on the "safe side" and perfect for a first time experience. Bye WWD

Test drive done! The 80T on the Lunchbox has the perfect speed to avoid damages and let my 3 yrs old son try and grow his drive skills...... We are both happy now. Bye WWD

Hi All, i take advantage of this forum to ask if someone have, "lost" in his RC stuff, the manual for the ESC in the subject. I have one of these in an old crawler but i have no manual and really don't know specs, fuctions and set up info.... A couple of pics or a scan would fantastic and enough. Thanks a lot for your time and effort. All the best. WWD

This scare me..... He wants to drive and already have the "idea" of how sticks works but i need a really slow test car for him. Will test it and limit the stick travel if needed. Bye WWD

Nice post! Just bought the RC4WD 80T version to adapt my Luchbox for my 3yrs old son. Curious to see if is slow enough.... WWD

It depends on what you will do with the car race or bash. For racing i would say any O.S., Nova Rossi, Orion, RB, will work wonder. I would go for a smooth and stable 3 port engine. For bashing and club race go for a Fastrax Enduro, is very stable and with a good power, enough for both the activities. To race i generally use Orion or O.S. on mine but i did some races also with the Fastrax to test it and works wonder considering the price. Look for the engine and pipe combo. Bye WWD

Wild WIlly M38 motor pinion.
wildwillydriver replied to richb77's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
Hi, as a WW maniac, some time ago i had some adapters done for both the Sport Tuned and New Generation Silver Can motors. See below some pics of them on the motors and also on the chassis were they fit nicely, leaving the motor free to pivot. Up to now, i only tested them "on the bench" not in a runner, all my stock motors are still working fine.... My first idea was to have a "Sport Tuned LWB WW runner" but at the moment is still in the project wish list..... Bye WWD -

Great Vid! Clod is always one of my fav runner to play and also to look at! Bye WWD -
Nope, rewired for sure, not a big issue.... Original is green + and yellow -. Bye WWD

Amen! Anyway what you have is the original Tamiya one (black endbell) with the pinion (15T) press fitted on it. The grey sleeve you see on it is the original tamiya heat shrink tube that was in the kit to "protect" the motor. If it still works fine i don't think is worth the effort to put a new silvercan on it. This is my .02.... Hope this help. Bye WWD

Fantastic build thread you really did a fantastic job on a superb car!!! It's a shame that Tamiya TRF left the project on 1:8 race cars since they were fantastic kits, i still own and race the TRF801X buggy (one +5mm long chassis and one standard chassis) but i think i'm virtually alone (for sure in my country i'm the only one) and to have parts, in the last year and a half i bought some lot of new and used parts all around the world (even directely from Tamiya USA drivers) and now i can race it for some seasons without have to worry about nothing but that's the only way to go. Tamiya 58044 - Mitsubishi Pajero

A great classic and a fantastic runner for fun bashing! For me the best wheelie car ever made, with a Sport Tuned motor can wheelie forever at "Time Warp" speed..... Don't expect good handling..... Bye. WWD
