Where abouts in the world do all of you come from?List your country and the city you live in?
I live in Melbourne,Australia. We are famous for our unstable weather as well as our rivalry with Sydney.Melbourne was also voted "the most livable city in the world"!
Any local hobby stores you'd like to mention as well!My favourites in Melbourne are Hobbyplace,Hearns Hobbies and Metro Hobbies!

Hello!
Are any of you into plastic model kits?I recently went to Hobbyplace(Melbourne-Australia)and noticed thier awe-inspiring variety of model kits compared to their r/c car range, which is also huge.Somebody must be buying these kits as it makes up most of their business-their range is HUGE!!!!!
I use to love these kits as a kid,I use to get one every week and build it to the best of my abilities-for a five year old!
I bought one from Ron Luke(Legend!)and must say I was thrilled building the model!I will definately get something more complex and bigger next time and give it ago!
Do any of you like this Hobby?Do you take it seriously and build the models perfectly?Do you have collections that you display? What about Tamiya kits?I also bought a Burago kit a year ago and found it fun as well!
Another question that arises is what other stuff do you do at your LHS-trains,rockets,Slot cars, wooden ships, steam engines??

The cars I like most are the ones that are in the Roughrider-Porsche 959 period! This is when Tamiya as well as r/c was at it's peak! The cars that stick out in my childhood memories the most are the Grasshopper,Hornet,Frog,Hotshot,Supershot ect!I was totally obsessed with these models when I was 12 years of age!My friends and I dreamed about these models, many of the kids had Hornets and Frogs as well!A single car I like most-Definately"The Frog"!!Just a legendery car at the time period that brought real R/C to the masses!
