well thats only a suggestion as to the colors that suits the car. but its down to personal taste if you want to choose different colors. -

one thing here is, and no one as answered are we paying for the tamiya name? why do tamiya charge so much for hop-up options? like for for instance, i paid £36 for a set of 4 shocks, and atleast the bodys are anodized aluminium, if i paid £58 for tamiya shocks, what would of i got for me money.....plastic bodies? all the other parts are basically the same, and made from the same meterial. so there is no difference in the costs to make the products. and when you say stick with tamiya original, or hop ups, could well be a contradiction. in some cases because how many of you here as hopped up there car's, and bought a tamiya motor?

Painting plastic parts of lexan bodys?
omen666(2) replied to aconsola(2)'s topic in General discussions
i think in your manual it will tell you to paint them using the colour specified. though if the do get scratched, its a case of re-touching them back up again. -
it will be for a TL01. would it be advisable to also use the speed tuned gear set with it?
-
probably true, but then, if some so say third party company can sell there products at a cheaper price, so why cant tamiya? or are we just paying for the tamiya name?
-
when i striped the shocks down i noticed that carson places a small spacer in between the two o-rings. as tamiya place there o-rings next to each other, i'd thought i will do the same to experiement. i moved the spacer towards the outside and the two o-rings was then next to each other. i have taken my dagger out the last two days and ran it over some rough terrain, the leaks have stopped, so hopefully just changing something as silly as that as now cured my problem. fingers crossed:)
-
is it a single or a double turn motor? and what do you think of them?
-
in my dagger i use a "P-Sung electronic speed control PCNOLIMI". which i purchase from here for £45. http://www.antics.ltd.uk/acatalog/Main_Ind...rollers_60.html it runs my 2 21x1 motors very well. i got a electriical connection block joining the two motors up to my ESC. the connection blocks can be bought from any hardware store for a lot less then a £1.
-
aye, i did read the reply by miramar (i think it was) about QD's in another post, and he said that there use 280 motors.
-
thx guyz, i'll try to do something with them first, cause these shocks costed me approx £36, and the 14 day period as ran out on them, so i'd rather try and do something with them first, cause the tamiya shocks will cost neary £60. also which i must add, is ridiculas price for a set of shocks.

no m8, it will not fit.
