hi all, not a major problem but sent my mind into overdrive! as im unsure if this was a windup or not! i'm in u.k and i recently sold some tamiya spares on feebay and 1 lot was bound for australia, so i posted in my usual herb & spices box ( got loadz off the brother in law and are good strong boxes for shipping ) the buyer received in good time at which point he emailed to say customs wouldn't allow items in a fruit box???? [] ( food regulations) and had to repackage the items at extra cost which the buyer felt was not his responsibility, fair enough so i sent him postage refund to keep the peace [A] has anyone else ever had a problem with the box an item was sent in? after all i did put TAMIYA PARTS on customs form, did they not read it? do you think the buyer just wanted money back or are customs that awkward? ive used the same boxes to post to europe, america and not had any problems! any advice welcome perhaps i need some new boxes! []

unluckily! i bought a manta ray body from him, after 3 weeks and no item, i emailed him to which he did reply to tell me it had been posted , a week later it turned up ( posted 2 days earlier) it came with no rear spoiler which he didnt state and was a nightmare to cut out, the moral of this story is next time i'll buy a genuine tamiya 1 for a lot less hassle and probably with very little price difference! lesson learnt! cheers [:@]

hi all, just an idea after being fleeced on feebay with a shop with no visitors but im thinking about opening a business website (not feebay) to sell good used tamiya spares from all your favourite 80's cars. as an example if you could buy a set lunchbox/pumpkin wheels and tyres for £14 new would you buy a lightly used set for £7 ( this is an example) and so on, plus from my own experience so many parts are becoming rarer to find ie boomerang/fox arms etc would you purchase used ones? ( used but not broken damaged in any way) i'd be interested to hear your opinions on this, would it work? wouldnt it? apart from used parts on e**y auction site and here of course does anyone already do this? to sum up would you buy cheap used part's to keep your car running or to finish that project as oppose to buying new? just to clarify there is nothing for sale here i'm just after opinions on the above. thanks for taking the time to read this and your input will be very welcome!

well im still up for it! but it looks like there is only me and you up for this which with no disrespect wont be very good [] unless anyone adds to this, if not we may have to make it another time! hi, no i dont think so, it's a larger wing i think! with added downforce according to instuction's, i have a big thing for these 3 piece wings at the moment as i have also fitted 1 to my 'white manta ray' ( in showroom) so i now have another decal sheet if anyone needs 1. many thanks []

hi mate, i sold you the decals on the ebay [] if you look in my showroom, they came with the hop- up wing i have fitted to my vanquish, they are also for vanquish, egress, avante, astute , i bought them on ebay from vintage*v*nte ( a great seller btw ) and didnt require them! hope this helps you,[] thanks

hi chris, ive still got an empty showroom[] so i went to the recover tab and found my pics but when i saved them and uploaded again to t/c the pics came out really poor & fuzzy am i doing something wrong? or should i just start again with new pics etc? i dont mind if this would be an easier option[] no urgency on this as i realize this is busy time for you just appreciate any help when you can! many thanks and chris next sunday why dont you take yourself out for the day and leave your computer well alone! lol []
