hi all, any joy with dates for the next meet? it needs to be over 2 days giving people choice to turn up on saturday and/or sunday. trev mentioned the pikey wagon for the 12/13th, this would allow us to use the caravan club site with tents (for people who want to do both days) is this any good to anyone? or do we go earlier and i'll try and sort out a b&b in the area? your ideas please! this new release for me has restored my faith a bit ( following the avante mk II, where i thought tamiya had completely lost the plot! ) also remember the coffee can cars available a while back, where people speculated that those mini cars represented future re-re's and what do you know the hotshot is there with the already released hornet, grasshopper, thundershot, top force, frog, manta ray. so whats next? going back to the coffee can cars, maybe the astute, boomerang and rough rider. worth a thought! either way the future's looking a lot brighter! russ from what i've read its o.k to glue tyres and put foam in ( dont lock the diffs) on a speed based txt, but for a crawler based 1 dont put the foam in and lock the diffs, i think thats right! [] if your getting an EVX mate it may be better to go for speed version using that and feed it the 2 batts, you'll notice a massive difference.
