  1. Hi, I need a Tx for my QD for restoring. Can be used but I expect it looks mint. Frequency not important. Thanx Joaquim
  2. Theo, That's true. I don't bother emailing eBay or PayPal because I know I will receive a bunch of stupid automatic answers which never seem to be useful and before acknowledging it, you have spend 10 mins on the articles. Joaquim
  3. Hi, The Kyosho Mayhems work very good and they are offered in normal & rev versions. Around 20.00@ They are 550 in size and will fit your Clod perfeclty. Yes, higher turn & less winds means more torque & punch. The mayhems I think are 20 single and 21 single, don't know if there are any more versions, plus a long motor can, these sure are high torque motors. (I am not sure for the turns & windings) Thanx Joaquim
  4. Hi, Trinity hard brushes work very good & last well. May be RC4383??? If you need more RPM, try to switch to softer springs but of course torque will go down. Thanx Joaquim
  5. Hi, Are you talking about the Tamiya Option Sponge tire for buggies, with square block patterns? May be in the early days, the dirt tires are really too hard and manufacturers wonder if sponge block tire would work better. But this thing never seem to go further, so you have the conclusion. If it is designed for on road, then threads wouldn't be necessary. Slick provides the largest contact surface. Not only sponge tires will provide traction on carpet, spike tires sometimes work better. I got this info from European famous driver Craig Dresher while we raced together in Hong Kong. I never tried cause there are no indoor carpet tracks here. Joaquim
  6. Hi, Don't worry. Option # 53620 TT01 Aluminum Propeller shaft will show up in Japan by 30th Mar may be, If they don't know Feb only got 28 days. YEN500. Stay tuned! Joaquim
  7. Chris, You can let PayPal know about this and PayPal will lock up this sender's money until the problem is resolved. I am in 1 of these cases now. A Loctite GT-R sending via air parcel to usa, tomorrow will be 30 days already. The buyer took 3 months to pay but in turn he locked up my money in 20 days.[8)] Joaquim
  8. quote:Originally posted by terry.scI use Dylon hot water fabric dye (comes in little tins) to dye wheels, nylon parts and even glassfibre sheet (really confuses people when you say it is a special chassis material). Just don't use a decent pan. Just make sure the parts will not deform in the hot water. White nylon parts really take the colour well. id="quote">id="quote">Terry, That Dylon was exactly what I used. Twinset, make sure the pans and forks or whatever are not ever going for cooking again.
  9. I have seen one of these bears with a ending price of over 10 grands. Just a few months ago. Joaquim
  10. The king pins & drive shafts look like Kyosho's. What's written on the tires?
  11. OMG...You must have became Twinsad when receiving this package. One sad for the body and another sad is for the box.[][] Willy is right, the divider is gone also. I have experience from Towers also. But not a car kit, just a clear body and some parts. They pack in a long box. By the time I receive it, it is no more an "I", it became an "S". I am serious. But the contents were in great shape. Last time I bought 2 car kits on eBay from a HK seller, bxxsxxxx008@hotmail.com (don't want to mention the whole ID). You know how she packs...She stacks the 2 kits with the covers facing each other, that's it. The outside was like what you received - Green wax paper + some strings. Luckily we live so close, an hour by ship. Hope you 2 can resolve the problem. Joaquim
  12. hfdbggfdh quote:Originally posted by WillyChang quote:Originally posted by jerzirccarDo you think you have bigger problem that I had. Watch my box I`m sure you will looooove it[]. Someone really can their job and simply someone can N[!]T their job. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=2673&id=313 id="quote">id="quote">Hi Jerry, Say, that Tyrrell didn't come from HK, did it? Mainly because the last time anybody tried to do that for me, the HK Post guys totally refused to accept any parcels that is *not* wrapped in brownpaper. They would not have allowed it through the mail like that. (except when you go buy HK "brownpaper", its green... [xx(]) id="quote">id="quote">Will, same here in Macau. The post office will not allow any parcels to ship without wrapping this what we called "Green Waxed Paper". If you know chinese, sounds like "Tarmac Paper". This is to provide minor waterproof for the parcel and also no other misleading addresses or information according to the post office. There is one exception here in Macau is when you use their own printed boxes. They are selling at a cheap & reasonable price.[8D]
  13. Twinset, According to my knowledge, clothing dye has 2 kinds - for cold & hot water. I tried the hot ones and it works on my nylon bands, cold ones, I really doubt it. Joaquim
  14. Darin, Assuming that you have the polarities & signal wires in correct position. Check the Rec & Rec battery - plug in 2 servos to the Rx and try, make sure you have charge pack. If it works, then the problem has to be the ESC. If it doesn't, try another set of crystals. When you plug in a Rx pack, did you turn on the ESC at the same time or accidentally did it? This could be causing to much current flow to the Rx. Last time when everything was plugged, any lights on from the ESC? Hope my info is helpful Joaquim
  15. Yeah, Stupid me screwed up with the 2 killers.[]
  16. Yeah guys, Pricing is too expensive. A can of this is selling 2.60 in Hong Kong. but not for fluorescent colors. Joaquim
  17. Please advise : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=34063 Has any seller tried? Please post your replies. Thanx for looking Joaquim
  18. Looks like Jason of "A Nightmare on Alm St."
  19. I guess this could be the mechanical speed control. Accoring to your symptons, ch1 & ch2 works, motors work. Please check the speedcontrol for disconnected wires & if the wiper is in connection with the plate. Could the plate be oxidated? Joaquim
  20. Please check this out : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...2&category=2565 Aren't these workmanship great? What kind of Beetle body is it? It doesn't look like a Tamiya Beetle body. Joaquim
  21. Jim, This is what I do also. If the seller is over 3, I won't bother checking. Joaquim
  22. Miramar, Great pics, wish to get a Cooper version. Got to see if there is any chance. A beetle will still look nice & classic! My 2 Military Unimogs(tamiya) have arrived already, still building the XC. That guy last time quote me like 80.00 for shipping and having seen the kit, should look like it needs. Still haven't opened it yet for a body transfer. It doesn't look that easy. first of all, the wheelbase is 10", while XC is 9.5" & 10.5". Body mounts? got to do some really serious body check! Take care Joaquim
  23. Woh, that body looks like it has been bitten by some furious dogs. The seller has the guts to put this kind of item for sale? I wouldn't dare...no matter how vintage it is. Joaquim
  24. coffo, That sure is expensive. But this kit is for some really addicted trucking guys or rock crawlers. Not for you & me, because we haven't reached that level yet. But one thing could be sure is that these guys must have tried a lot of R/C kits with a lot of experience. You & I can't build a truck with these 3 pcs. What level that is? Nothing could be more perfect than custom built. No one has it, money can't buy, with his expected performance. A lot of pricing for items sound rediculous to us. Such as $5000 for a bottle of wine, $100 for a foot of speaker wire, $60 for a cigar, $1000 for a dinner, etc... The point is, we are not up to that level yet. Just dicussing, nothing serious[] Joaquim
  25. Guys, This is a good idea in showing the purity of a seller in secs. No need to go through his feedback page. Could be useful to Newbies. Loading could take just a little bit longer but I think it is still worthwhile waiting. Let's discuss this idea : Showing the registration place & how long has been a member is not so important. Actually the longer time membership it is, the worst it could get because this seller knows too much during this long period of time in Ebay. Knowing where the package will be shipped is good enough. I suggest showing all 3 kinds of feedbacks next to the member's ID. Left for positive(blue), center for neutrals(grey), right for negatives(red). e.g. walawala_com (82-5-34) or with letters e.g. walawala_com (82P-5N-34NEG). No percentage, that's useless! Of course there is also a feedback page to search just like what it used to be. Please give your opinions!!! Joaquim
