  1. Sounds like a Clod Buster or Bull Head. A picture would be helpful. Does it have dual motors ? Cheers
  2. Stella has the Ford F-350 kit for pre order now ! Will be available on 5-6th September.[][][] Cheers
  3. It´s a very robust motor. Not a high maintenance one. Perfect for your runner. You can find them for a good price. Try Stella or "jr-rc" on ebay. Cheers
  4. Hi Suzy, Go for a Tamiya Super Stock RZ and use a 18 tooth pinion. (Steel recommended !) With this combination, your husband will have no chance.[] These Eagle Racing speed tuned gear sets doesn´t make a sense. Cheers
  5. Go for a Tamiya Super Stock RZ or TZ motor. It´s a 23 Turn. Gives you much more speed and good runtime. The perfect motor for a M03. [] Cheers
  6. Just noticed it ! Very cool feature. [H] Many thanks Chris ! Cheers
  7. Referring to Tamiya USA, part no. is 0440196 for two wheels. So you´ll need it twice for the whole set. Cheers
  8. I have Super Stock TZ in my King Blackfoot. And it´s very fast with this machine. The perfect motor. I know it´s not a Blackfoot Xtreme, but has nearly the same weight and tires. Maybe your speedo or batteries are not the best. I wouldn´t go for a brushless system in a Blackfoot Xtreme. Too much power for such a car. I would try the new Super Stock BZ for a Monster Truck like the Blackfoot. Cheers
  9. Very cool paintscheme ! Love it.[H] Add some chrome wheels from the new Double Blaze and it will look even better.[] Cheers
  10. What a nice car to start with ! [] My first GH was green too. Green really suits the Grasshopper well. Candy lime green is such a great color especially for the old Grasshopper. Cheers
  11. Hi Tom, I would paint the wings. Looks much better in my opinion. I own both Galaxy´s. The red and blue one. I´ve painted both like box art. Wing for ther red one in silver and wing for the blue Galaxy RS in white. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...=15082006085712 http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...5234&id=573 Cheers, Joachim
  12. The Tamiya Super Stock´s are fantastic motors. But i think Theo is right. Too fast for a Wild Willy. It will flip and roll all the time. I would go for a black Sport Tuned. It´s a little bit faster than stock and much more controllable than a Super Stock. Maybe a change for the 20 tooth pinion is also an alternative. Brings more topspeed even with the stock motor. Steel pinions are also recommended for the Wild Willy. I also use the "Hard Joint cup set" No. 53218. Highly recommended if you use a stronger motor. These are of hardened material. The original ones wear out quickly. Cheers
  13. Here is my No.1 3720 views http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...4505&id=573 Cheers
  14. Just bought the digital version of the September issue.[] What a fantastic article Darryn ! Brings our great hobby and passion for old RC Cars nearer to other R/C enthusiasts. Many thanks again for choosing the pictures of my black Super Champ. Feel free to use any of my pictures for future articles. You´re doing a great work.[] I would like to have the original printed magazine too. But it´s not available here in Germany.[] So it would be great if someone here on TC could buy this issue for me. I can pay for all the costs through Paypal. Cheers Joachim
  15. There isNo ESC included in japanese market Tamiya kits.[] Kits for the rest of the world includes the ESC. These kits are marked with an orange sticker on the outside of the box which says: "includes an electronic forward and reverse speed controller". Cheers
  16. Fantastic looking car and pictures. The old Golf GTI Mk.I is so cool. This body on an M-chassis would be awesome.
  17. M03 and M04 are totally different chassis types. There is no difference between the silver/grey and black M03 chassis A-parts. The M03L BMW Mini Cooper comes with black A-parts. The M03 Mini Cooper Racing comes with the silver/grey ones. But it´s totally the same. M03M Suzuki Swift has the black chassis too. The XB versions of the Mini Coopers have the black parts . I think, for the newer kit they now use the black A-parts. Cheers
  18. I´ve scanned the instructions. Drop me a mail. I can send you the pictures. Cheers
  19. Hi Chris, Can´t edit my trades. Always get this: You are userid appears to be invalid Cheers Joachim
  20. Don´t forget the Mugen Bulldog ! Cheers
  21. There are a lot of aftermarket alloy parts available for the M03 chassis. "GPM" makes a lot of parts for the M03. Also alloy lower arms. Many Hong Kong sellers stock them. Search on ebay for "Tamiya GPM M03" and you´ll find them. Front and rear turnbuckles and uprights are the same, as for the TL-01 chassis. TL-01 lower arms would fit the M03, but makes the whole thing wider. Cheers
  22. Congrats ! [] This is a very nice car. And it´s a 2WD rear wheel drive chassis. A good idea are full ball bearings, oil filled dampers, aluminium motor mount ball diff and the stabilizer set. I wouldn´t go for a 18 Turn motor. These cars are fast, even with a standard 540. Go for a good 23 Turn motor like the Tamiya Super Stock RZ or TZ. Works perfect in this car. I wouldn´t go over a 23 Turn motor without Hop Ups like oil dampers, ball bearings and ball diff. Cheers
  23. Many thanks for the info ! You´re great guys. The Ball diff is of very good quality. Works excellent. It´s very hard to find info for this parts here in Germany. For most of these parts, i think there wasn´t a distributor in Germany back in the 80s. Will save the balldiff for one of my next projects. Tomahawk !? @Shodog. There is the word *STAR* molded in the Radio Box. Maybe this helps. Cheers Joachim
