  1. Recently bought an old Kyosho Scorpion off ebay. While disassembling the car, i noticed that it had a Ball Diff installed. [] But never heard of an after market Ball Diff for the Scorpion before. The car also came with a Lexan RC-Box. Does anyone know, who manufactured these Hop Ups back in the good old days ? Any info is welcome ! [] Many thanks Joachim
  2. Welcome to the Club !![]
  3. Yes, any current Tamiya 2WD wheel should work. Also the rear rims of the 4WDs. I would go for the Dark Impact rear tires. These are the best offroad tires, Tamiya ever made. You can also wait for the wheels of the new Tamiya Sand Viper buggy, which will be released soon . Same chassis as the Desert Gator, but comes with grey/silver Dish wheels. Cheers
  4. The grip one the rears is superb ! [] And the fronts work very well too. You can fit the front rims without any modification.
  5. I use Desert Gator wheels on my re-re Frog. With Desert Gator front tires and Dark Impact rears. Cheers Frog2005-modernTires 024 (Medi

  11. I think you´re right ! The Tamiya parts box for the new tires says: "Made in Italy" [] What do we learn about this ? Tamiya will be competitive again, also in the buggy scene ! Hope we can see a Dark Impact based worksracer soon.[Y]
  12. Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stunning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [H]
  13. Hi Stellamodels, just a quick question. Will you stock the new Tamiya Mini Cooper Racing "Finished Body" kit No. 92177 which is now available in Japan ? Thanks
  14. The Blitzer Beetle gearbox is bulletproof ! [H] Ballrace the gearbox and use a steel pinion gear and you´ll never have problems anymore, even with hot motors.[au]
  15. Hi Rob, I can only speak for myself, but for racing fun together with some friends, the M03 Mini Coopers are the ideal cars. They bring loads of fun. And with the stock setup and a good 3300 battery. 25 minutes of running time aren´t a problem. I also love the FWD concept which makes driving easy and more stable around corners, specially for beginners. Speaking of stock, it´s a pretty good stock. But i would recommend a set of ball bearings and some oil filled shock. The standard Tamiya C.V.A. shock will do the job proper. If you want to upgrade the Mini with hotter motors ( a Tamiya Super Stock RZ is perfect ! ), then a ball diff is highly recommended, to bring the power better on the track. You can see a modified M03 Mini in my showroom. Joachim
  16. I wrote an e-mail to Dickie, two weeks ago and asked if they want to sell the new M03M Suzuki Swift here in Germany. But i got no reply.[:@] I´ve also asked why they don´t import the Frog, Thunder Shot to Germany. I´m sure, they don´t want to sell the Suzuki here in Germany. You can´t find any info on the Dickie website.[6] They only promote their Xmods and Carson **** !

  18. I would be interested too. [] Please let me know, when you have them for sale.
  19. Just saw on your website that you don´t stock the M03 Mini Cooper Racing anymore. When do you get re-stock of these kits ?
  20. I use the black C.V.A. short shocks on my King Blackfoot. Works great. As i heard from other members, the Duratrax gold shocks are not so good. They are called "Duraleak". If you use C.V.A. shocks, use medium or hard oil and the one hole damper piston on the rear dampers and normal yellow soft oil and two hole damper piston on the front. Perfect setup for the KBF.[] The stiffer spring, which comes with the C.V.A. short shock set is also a good choice for the rear suspension.
  21. Yes, it´s true ! Look at this: http://tamiya.com/japan/news/news0603/news1.htm No. 58368 Suzuki Swift Super 1600 - M03M !!!!!! Cheers
