Don´t have any information on this.[] I hope they will sell them here in Germany. My LHS, a big shop in Augsburg didn´t knew anything about the re-releases, before i told them about these kits. The distributor here in Germany is a real nightmare.[:@]

I think you are the only person who can say if they are collectable or not. I like the rereleases. For me, they are collectable. They bring back my favourite Tamiya classic cars. And i don´t like the way to think that they are much more worth in the future. A good example is the Fire Dragon. It´s not so collectable as others like Hot Shot, Boomerang, ... but you like it (I am a big fan too ! )and that´s the point. I like the car, not the money it´s worth.[]

Got my Thunder Shot kit today too ! [] Great kit. The old Hop-Up wing is really cool. But i miss the decals for the wing, which were included in the old Hop-Up wing kit.[:0]

The Fiat 131 Abarth 1/10 body doesn´t exist. Tamiya never released a body or a complete 1/10 scale RC kit. But they did a 1/24 static kit. This kit was re-released last year. Maybe you saw this one in an old catalogue. They also made an 1/24 Audi Quattro. You can find these kits often on ebay. []

To mod a Mini Cooper is no problem. The old M01, or the newer M03 which is the better choice in my opionion. Many Tamiya Hop up parts and after market parts are available. I would recommend full ball bearings, Tamiya Sport Tuned or Super Stock RZ motor, oildampers, ball diff, stabilizers and aluminium motor mount.
