  1. Kimbrough do a truck servo saver, this is the one you want .............
  2. when building any trf chassis it is very wise to get a 3mm tapping tool as some of the carbon reinforced plastics can be damaged by just screwing straight in to them.

    Vajra

So you pay all that money for a Vajra and you get plastic shocks that's outrageous ..................
  4. >Kaylon< you can use the 15 turn Firebolt in mod class, anything up to and including a 19 turn spec is permitted in the mod class. The Saturn however will never be permitted in the stock class as it is not a Tamiya motor !
  5. I would like the DB01 slipper clutch and RW spur gears please. let me know your paypal address......
  6. The DT03 shocks are exactly the same lengths as the DT02 shocks. They just bolt straight on and are actually marketed to fit both the DT03 and DT02. 54567 Tamiya do a white set 84347 of plastic cva dampers, I think they are for the CW-01, so you have to not build them with the plastic piece that limits the stroke. this then gives full droop. Tamiya also do a yellow cva set, 84365 these are of the new design matching both the black and white sets. Again for the CW-01. Now I do remember having to buy two packs of the white ones as you need the longer ones from the packs, this is possible the same for the yellow ones. And also with these packs the springs are too short so you need to buy proper buggy springs. The DF03 spring pack is perfect and what I use. 53927
  7. Looks fantastic chap, a very nice paint job with a limited amount of stickers shows the body off to it's full glory.
  8. Nice paint chap, good to see another non box art one. Shame you are not over here as we will be having a DT03T class next year at Kidderminster. The plan is to run a Tamiya truck race meeting.
  9. Once you have built the car you will instantly notice the centre of balance is so far rearward it is ridiculous. I have jammed 45 grams of lead in the front of mine just to get some sort of front end bite.
  10. you will need to add weight to the front of your DT03 as it is too light or it will handle like a bag of pants
  11. There are two clubs in your area. http://www.racing-cars.com/sitepage/uk_rc_clubs.html Go and have a look.
  12. It is a Vajra body. http://www.stellamodels.com.hk/58497-vajra-wbonus-item-minor-body-creases-p-5762.html
  13. My DT03T Aqroshot...... http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=77779#entry603742
  14. tddun, the carbon fibre chassis reinforcing plates are worth the money, they are cheap too #54407. Plus use ceramic balls in your diff's. The centre universal shaft set is a good idea, solves three problems in one go. #54404. And use uj's in the front as well.
  15. ChrisRx718, with power on the car runs flat and torch is super bumpy. It was a wet track so you run a soft front end to get grip.
  16. the DB02 went well, nothing broke. The roll centre is rubbish with the chassis being so wide and the balance is too far forward so I need under lipo weight. It is no plastic 502 that's for sure, I played around with both the oil weights and spring rates which made it better but no where near as good as my 502. It was fun to drive and it will be going back to the track soon with a better esc. the drive train took ages to free up and you can hear it when it is at full speed down the back straight.
  17. it was very foggy first thing. the track was wet so Ballistic Buggy greens needed
  18. ok, so some of you have seen by build up thread on here of the DB02 Racer magazine review car I bought off ebay. Hopped it to the max and went Racing..................Pictures taken by Lionel Croucher.
  19. this car went Racing, check in the racing talk here on TC.
  20. ok, electrics in and ready to go racing...............
  21. tddun, the alloy upper arm mounts change the position and make a huge difference. The come in the trf502x upgrade pack but you can buy them in pairs.#54437 I recommend you get them. the alloy steering bridge is excellent, makes the steering more precise #54402. The magazine does not explain this, they only show and talk about the stock car.
  22. ChrisRx718, Tamiya aeration dampers are the best I have ever used. They are fantastic, smooth and worth every penny.
