Bought The New Holiday Buggy? Post Here!
Royal Male replied to akemag's topic in Re-Release Discussions
Hi, Slightly of topic........just wanted to ask if the Holiday Buggy body will fit onto my Desert Gator, it obviously shares the same chassis but the front wishbones look different so i'm unsure if this will cause a problem? cheers in advance for any advice. -
Special Interest Group Banners? How To?
Royal Male posted a topic in Tamiyaclub Rules and Site Usage
Dear all, I have started up a Mardave interest group but even after a few attempts at creating a decent banner fitting into pre set layout, I still end up with a disaster. The image is super stretched and a mess, can any one advise? many thanks Rm -

Cheap Deans Connectors On Ebay...anygood?
Royal Male replied to Royal Male's topic in All things electric...
I ended up getting 5 pairs of Deans (probably dean style) with silicone for a fiver, they arrived today and they look good. The question I now have is which end goes where?? I was planning on soldering the male end onto the battery which would allow me to crocodile clip my charger to the battery BUT I have read that the female end should be solderd to the battery to prevent shortning out. Also, is it wise to replace the bullet connectors on the motor with my fake deans?? cheers in advance. -
Hi all, As there is no club based in North London or London for that matter I am testing the water to see how many people would be interested in meeting up regularly. I may have access to an ideal hall for some carpet racing so I am thinking of maybe running a M chassis class and Mardave V-12's. Nothing to serious, keeping things simple and cheap so that it's all about the driving. Anyone with an opinion or interest please comment, even a show of hands just to get an idea of potential numbers. Cheers RM

that's a neat idea, although I did have to open a new browser to go back to the homepage to find it Sorry, I'm just finding my feet on Tamiya club, could anyone tell me the best way to provide links to my showroom when posting on the forum. Thanks for you help, in advance. The antenna holder is made from plastic sheet similar to lexan (polybarbonate). cheers

Hi, I have finally become a fully paid up member of Tamiya club so am just starting to sort my showroom out. Its early days and there is a lot of work to do. I have been visiting the site for a year now and it really is inspiring. I have posted some shots of my home made M03 internal aerial, its laser cut and etched with a 'logo of choice', I would love some comments. I Look forward to an active contribution to the site. regards RM
