  1. Just finished my own version of the Lotus 79. Depict Mario Andretti ak the German GP in 1979.
  2. Well, there are 2 different situation, mine and a friend of mine. My friend would like to see any exixting F1 ever made... I've smaller ambitions, I'm just an huge Lotus fan, so, Lotuses are a warm welcome. I've some drawings of 2 controversial F1 cars, Lotus88 and Lotus80, soon or later I'll do something in this direction, but if you want I can share with you my drawings. I've the original drawing from Team Lotus of the following: Lotus 80 Lotus 86 Lotus 88 Lotus 91 Also Lotus 81 would be a very interesting car to drive...(also kinda easier to make) Ages ago I've made a body, starting from Tamiya Lotus 107, in order to geta slightly different body, just 3 were made, still one in my shelf... What is your procedure? When I made the "107A" I've started making a clone with some gipsum (chalk???) then I start the add-remove story Then we made the first (and only) 3 pieces (I was scared to death that the master could broker in that moment.... you know, with the vacuum...I've the chance to use a real professional machine...) Later on we made an aluminium master, which never saw a real "production".... Just a question over the Chaparall 2K. Very nice one. But the wheelbase of the original car wasn't more suited to the F103? You use the F103 for the Velodrome, right? Excellent Job! Ciao Giorgio
  3. As many, I try to enlarge my F1 collection with different bodoes. It might be just repaint away from the original in order to get a different sponsor scheme (usual with old F1 body, just think at Willams FW07 and how many private driver use that car). A friend show me another chance... Not mass produced bodies... such this Leyton House. Is there anyone that knows bodies custom maker? someone that, for passion, has made some different body?
  4. Hello guys I come across an "almost beat up" Brabham. I start the restoration process, but I need a couple of things.... A decent scan of the decals and more important, I miss completely the rear wing.... So I need a rear wing or scan of the original wing, so I cna build a new one, together the aluminium support... Any help will be much apprecated Thanks Giorgio

  6. Some one has some more news? Thanks Giorgio
  7. Holy cow!!!!!!!!!!! I would kill to drive a lap with such car.... This is model skill!!!
  8. Dear Mb would be possible for you get a scan of the magazine? Lotus (of course) is the most interesting. Dear Jedi I know they are Tamiya, but not "production". The Williams is clearly a modified Fw07, while the Tyrrels (I've both, the orig and the re-issue) are "upgraded" to perfection level. Dear Bakaguyjean If you can find a link for their web it would be really appreciated. Thanks to all! Giorgio
  9. Hello Group I take the chance to submit the group this picture, hoping someone might know more. At very fisrt glance, I was sure they were custom 1/20 tamiya models. It take a second, a third, a fourth... to discover the obvious. Those are 1/10 cars. Theoretically you might want to use them over over a track (altough just for a very slow lap...) Some one know who make them? a web site? any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!! Giorgio (aka Lotus88)
