  1. Hello, i´m just copying my private msg answer into here... yes i can help, and i WILL reproduce these parts for my cars as well. A few minutes ago i have added pictures of egress and avante 2001 to my showroom ;-) Currently i´m modifying the considered parts because i don´t have new ones available. Since i don´t have any experience with these cars, maybe you can tell me where C-parts are often breaking so i can give the reproductions a slight reinforcement. Have you already seen the existing aluminium parts for Astute ?!? - so you can imagine what is possible... there are now 3 threads existing concerning my parts - including some statements concerning estimated prices... i can´t tell you right now where the Egress-parts will be with there costs, but i will let you know before i´m ordering them... have FUN Markus
  2. Hi, are you looking only for a new shell or for parts generally ?!? until today i have reproduced two parts for Astute (made of Aluminium instead of plastic)... anyways... it would be nice to know if there is anybody out there that reproduces parts. greets Markus
  3. Hello, it´s me again, and i just want to inform you that it´s going on here AND that i have got a new part for Astute... If i find enough time i will rebuild the next Astute using this part. I haven´t cleaned it or cut away the rests of the mold, but the part is again a perfect copy of the original and fits perfecttly as well... So... if you want to have one of these or a pair of the rear Astute parts http://tamiyaclub.com/CS/forums/178557/ShowThread.aspx#178557 than contact me please. Dyna storm parts will be made as well, but right now i don´t need Dyna parts (what the he... are you doing with your Dynas... i have 2 Stormies running now, but never had a problem till today)... The next thing is: I got a lot of requests concerning Egress/Avante/Vanquish remakes. NOW... a few days ago i have got my first Egress and a Avante 2001 (i think it is a 2001). So i can tell you that i will need parts for these cars as well. Currently i am modifying the front and rear uprights for Egress. After finishing this i will request a quote and place the order for a few copies... so... if anybody is interessted as well... the more parts i can order, the cheaper they will be at the end... Have FUN Otto ;-)
  4. actual status: Dyna D1/2: 4 parts each Dyna D5: 4 parts OK... That´s not enough. The price per part will be unacceptable for the Dyna-parts. At 20th November i will place the order for Astute D1 because it seems that these parts can be sold if they are existing and my latest car (Super Astute) needs them as well... Astute D5 will be ordered at the same date because my cars need them and i am not willing to spend money in new parts. They will be more expensive than expected, but i want to have these parts because i want to run the Astute... Maybe i will order the Dyna parts as well but mine are still in good condition and so i don´t need these parts at the moment. I´m sorry, but it seems that the project died now. I will contact all of you that were interested in Astute parts when i have got the repros... have Fun greets Markus
  5. Hello again... shipment will be not more than 10 Euro within Europe and to Australia as well... Sorry that i forgot to answer this question. YES, i will accept paypal... i think it´s the easiest and safest way for everybody... have fun
  6. Hi... i can´t tell you exactly by now... tomorrow i´ll ask at the post-office for prizes... then i will tell you. But i suppose that it will be not more than 10 Euros including materials for packing the parts... I hope there will be enough buyers ;-) greets Markus
  7. actual status: Astute D5: 6 parts for prodution Astute D1: 12 parts Dyna D1/2: 4 parts each Dyna D5: 4 parts
  8. well... nobody any questions ??? actual status: Astute D5: 6 parts for prodution Astute D1: 10 parts Dyna D1/2: 3 parts each Dyna D5: 3 parts not enough... PS... Astute D1 will be reproduced anyways because the tool for molding is already existing... ;-)
  9. As promised in the other Thread i am opening a new one because i want to address "Dyna Stormers" as well... Ok.. im starting... The Dyna Storm D5-Part: The (one time) price for the tool will be 55.00 Euro. Each part will cost 25.00 Euro. This part will be a modified part on wich the weak attachment area (the holes for the fwd damper stay) is modified by myself. The Astute/Super Astute D5-Part: The (one time) price for the tool will be 70.00 Euro. Each part will cost 35.00 Euro. This part is as well modified in the same way like the Dyna Storm D5 is and will not break again because of the weakness of mounting holes for the fwd damper stay. The Dyna Storm D1 and D2 parts: The (one time) price for the tool will be 45.00 Euro (we will need two tools because D1 and D2 are different). Each part will cost 12.50 Euro. This part will look like the original one except that it is made out of aluminium. I suggest that a first series of 20 parts of each will be available for acceptable costs. The Dyna Storm D5 will be available for 27,75 Euro excluding taxes or shipping. The Astute D5 is a lot more complex part and can be made for 38,50 Euro. As well excluding taxes or shipping. The Dyna D1 and D2 will cost 14,75 Euro each. Of course as well without shipping and taxes. Astute/Super Astute D1 part: This part is available and can be reproduced at any time. The tool is payed by myself. This part i can order for a price of 9,00 Euro each. All parts delivery time will be 2 weeks from the day i am ordering the production of the parts. Now it´s up to you: Place an order to my e-mail at: markus.krauss@flugbereitschaft.com I will post here in this thread how much orders i have got for each part and will make the parts at the time i have got 20 orders. I think that this will be the only way to do this. Remember: These parts will be the only ones that are available and these parts are not "handmade" they are professionally reproduced out of aluminium and look like the original parts. Please contact me via e-mail directly. Please don´t use tamiya-clubs "get in contact with" it does not work correctly on my system. If there are any further questions post them in this Thread. Please do not use the Astute-Aluminium Thread. I will try to answer your questions as soon as possible. Thank you... greetings from germany Markus
  10. It´s me again :-D Sorry, but i have had problems with connecting to the forum... This evening i will open a new Thread with Dyna Storm AND Astute in it´s title, because i hope that there will be enough people to get the parts made at an acceptable prize... For this i will explain wich parts are currently available and for wich parts i have got a quote for reproduction... check in again this evening ;-) have Fun Markus
  11. Thank you for the answers... seems that i have to get a Madcap as well...
  12. Astute or Super Astute C1 ??? Both will be done, but don´t ask me now when i will make them. Super Astute C1/C2 are used with Dyna Storm as well... i think that these parts should be done after the fwd bulkheads are available...
  13. OK... you are right... basicly i tried to tell that it are not the Dyna-parts that will help him. it´s true that the rear blocks and front bulkhead are very weak on Astute/Super Astute... That´s the reason why i made the alu-parts. Would you please explain why the Madcap is lighter than the SA ??
  14. Hi again... a small info-update... kingeddie has got the first set of astute parts. These are the parts i made for my own Astute and Super Astute and can be reproduced at any time. Dyna Storm parts D1 and D2 are "in production" Dyna Storm D5 and Astute D5 are modified as required and will be made after Dyna D1/2 are finished. Currently i´m not in my office because of "family problems"... so please give me one more week... Will be "back in office" on friday... One more info: be sure that the parts will be done because i need them as well to keep my Dyna and Astute running ;-) have fun Otto
  15. It are NOT the Dyna Storm Parts that will fit the Madcap. Astute/Super Astute Chassis would work, but it dosn´t make sense to upgrade a Madcap... basicly they are the same cars, but nearly every part used on Astute is different because Astute has installed metal-bushings or ball bearings in every moving connection/part. But... Keep your Madcap as is and try to get Astute or Super Astute.
