I just looked in my old showroom and can see I've had about 7 or 8 avante family cars over the years, all rescued rebuilt and sold, think I've got a problem I'll probably search for another a few months after this has gone

Hi all, I finished rebuilding this yesterday but won't be keeping it, I like to run my cars, and I have a top force for that, and this is a little too fragile if I'm perfectly honest. Anyway, you know what it is, here are the pics D2 has a crack, as you can see in pic, also the rear mounts are metal and as far as I can tell not original. Front end has a rounded screw near the gearbox, I can post a pic to anyone interested. Couple of the springs are a bit rusty. Gearboxes are good, the chassis plates aren't exactly mint but no other damage to this 33 year old model. Tyres are brand new schumacher spikes, lightweight wheels are also brand new. I'm asking £325 posted UK. I sold my last Avante for £440 on ebay and it wasn't as nice as this, grab it before it goes to auction Pm for further details.

FB can be good for buying/selling, but I'd agree, there are loads of show offs on there, lots of hoarders too, with 5/10 of the same model, shelfers/nib. I don't have an official account on fb, my TC and eBay are me (Wez-li) but fb isn't cos its full of weirdos and stalkers lol.

Lightweight wheels. Best Tamiya wheels ever? Hmmm debatable, but they were a reasonable price for a change, and definitely gonna look good on my Avante. If i can ever find the time to rebuild it
