I did use (amongst others) a 55 turn motor, I didn't gear down though...

Just looked at the price for an F350 HL, Modelsport has it in £449 (£555 rrp), I paid in '07 (I think) £330 from lhs... another hs not so local had it in for £300... Noticed the HPI Baja 5SC for £899 (£1139 rrp)!!!!!!!!!! for lets face it, a toy.

As said, it wasn't something I normally did, and the Traffic Officers (both of them) had full uniform, radios, flashing blues in the radiator grille etc... I have to admit that it did make me chuckle to myself that he wrote my details down on the back of his note pad due to not having the forms/documentation yet because of the change of legislation etc.... Suffice to say, I am 100% more resolved in not even speaking on phone by use of speaker/hands free etc.... It doesn't pay...

That's what I'm thinking about the not hearing about it... As to professionalism, maybe he was trying to make a point, but I guess we'll see... Well, I will see that is lol. As a non-smoker, it also gets my back up about that too, same as not using lights, indicators etc....

Yes I know, I'll be in badword for doing this as a professional driver. I was talking to a colleague via hands free and I couldn't quite hear him (phone was in a holder not on ear), so I picked it up to hear him better as he was wanting assistance. An unmarked car stopped me 30 seconds later, and during course of my reprimand he mentioned that as it was the first time I had been caught (wasn't something I normally did), that I would probably be offered the "Driver Awareness Course" due to new legislation coming into effect that day. Now with it being a new "thing", they didn't have the paperwork/forms etc on them and wrote my details on back of notepad. That was back on 10th Oct.... I haven't heard anything since then and I haven't been able to find anything out online as to how long it takes for these things to come through. Oh, and yes, I have learnt my lesson.

Hi Mark, I've got the brass shaft adapter (2-3.2mm), just need to know which pinions I need to order...

I need a replacement pinion for my HB, any help given be appreciated. I'll be using a stock 380motor for now. According to the build manual 15t & 18t are the sizes, but as the one that came with the chassis is quite worn I shall need a pair of replacements. Prefer RRW etc...

The Traxxas 380 motor is a 18 turn motor, will it be ok with a Tamiya TEU 104 ESC? Thinking about using this with my newly aquired 1981 Holiday Buggy. I don't have the 540 motor mount, + don't have the facilties to make one either.... It's either that motor or a nice new 380 Grasshopper/2010 HB spec motor....

I too have that problem..... It's with an Acoms Techniplus radioset..... Mark, what radio are you using with that speedo? I've just built up a truck again wanting to use this speedo and (radio if possible) as I had both spare.

I would agree that a tattoo has to mean something to the wearer of it, not just I'll have one as my mates have got one etc... I have 3, 1 I want either removed/covered or just left as is as a reminder of not what to do, andother that means something big to me and the obligitory Union Jack/Bulldog type lol... If I was to have an R/C inspired tat, then probably would be the blue/red with stars theme. Reasonably sized at base of spine.
