  1. Hi Jakob. Thanks for your reply and your offer to mediate, greatly appreciated. The Robbe Sea Jet looks pretty good, and the newer Sea Jet Evolution is still available if you search but I'm mainly chasing the Kyosho Wave Chopper for now. The Sea Jet in the link does look pretty well used but as you said the price is good so I'll still keep it in mind. Thanks again mate, and I sent you a pm :) Cheers, Dave.
  2. WANTED Hi. Looking for a Kyosho Wavechopper jetski / Wave Chopper jet ski. Prefer excellent as new condition or NIB, and located in or willing to post to Australia. Let me know what you have Cheers.
  3. I fitted a Kimbrough servo saver which is heavier than the original so I guess it adds a bit more flex to the chassis. The other parts I was waiting for have now arrived so I will look at fitting the new Active Hobby servo mount some time in the next couple of weeks.
  4. Yeah I can understand that, I used paypal and had no issues at all. First thing I did was to look for the paypal logo on their web site before ordering, I wouldnt of placed the order if they didnt accept paypal. At least your covered if anything goes wrong.
  5. All good mate no problems. Yes the servo mount turned up the other day so no problems with ordering or delivery to Australia. Looks good but I'm just waiting for a couple of other items to arrive before I disassemble the WW2 and fit it. Cheers.
  6. I do have the Tamiya Hop-Up Options 54587 alloy mounts currently fitted and although they look the part and fit perfectly I also fitted a heavy duty servo saver at the same time, so with the stiffer servo saver the chassis is now flexing. Seems Ive moved the weakest "give" point from the servo saver to the chassis. I didnt notice any flex or issues when running the standard servo saver even with the standard plastic servo mounts, so I'm sure the Tamiya 54587 alloy mounts would be fine if it wasnt for the hd servo saver I fitted. Hopefully the Active Hobby STR287R mount solves the issue.
  7. Try Banzai Hobby. I recently sent Banzai and rc mart a message asking if they had one lying around in any color as both had them listed as out of stock. RC mart didnt have any but Banzai actually checked with their supplier and got back to me a few days later saying they had them in red so I now have one on the way. :) They still have the red ones listed on their web site "in stock" so be quick! https://banzaihobby.com/Active-Hobby-STR287R Cheers.
  8. Hi everyone. Just a heads up, I have been in contact with Don regarding his .50 caliber customs CNC rear ORV arms, and he is now considering the option of another parts run if there is enough interest. He is going to contact some local machine shops to work out minimum numbers and minimum pricing required and take it from there. Obviously the rear swing arms are the crown jewel item, but other possible parts if it goes ahead are steering blocks, front arms, rear shock mounts, rear body post brace, and motor cover. Some links to show examples of his parts - https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/tamiya-frog-brat-orv-aluminum-468167415 https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/tamiya-monster-beetle-black-foot-mud-440019891 https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/tamiya-vintage-blackfoot-monster-481068476 https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/tamiya-monster-beetle-black-foot-mud-401325750 https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/tamiya-frog-monster-beetle-blackfoot-132398427 https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/tamiya-frog-brat-blackfoot-monster-137667539 https://www.tamiyaclub.com/trades_model.asp?cid=97760&id=23382 Don's plan once he knows minimum cost and numbers is to start a go fund me page to raise the capital required. He is happy for me to share his email address so any questions can be sent directly to him, but please genuinely interested inquiries only - Don McAtee - mcateedon@gmail.com Lets all support him on this and cross our fingers in the hope that it goes ahead Cheers, Dave.
