  1. On the tamiya 101 site theres a artical on easy letter writing using a very fine screwdriver. It might be of use.
  2. I have sprayed mt S/S body using tamiya paint but need to tidy up a few area's. When I have tried to use a brush the sprayed paint has reacted to the the paint on the brush and seamed to go back to its liquid state and pull off the body. The paint on the brush is from the same aerosol cans sprayed into a container. Any one any ideas as to what is happening. Thanks
  3. Anyone know if you can get metal casting paint in the UK. Mikea was this a spray or did you paint with a brush. Andy
  4. Thanks Kev
  5. Hi Does anyone know the length of a front body post that converts a rough rider post to a sand scorcher. I'm most interested in the length from the base to where the scorcher body rests on it. Thanks Andy
  6. That looks really nice. Does anyone know if metal casting paint is available in the UK. I'm sure I've seen engine paint in halfords so that should do. Andy PS I suspect you did but did you prime the parts first.
  7. Hi Guys What do think is the best thing do do with the ali bits on a sand scorcher. Do you all spend hours polishing them or do you think spraying them with ali coloured paint is the best way to go. Having spent a lot of time looking on the show rooms there are some really cool cars on there, but I'm not sure how some of the metal work has been done. I dont want to do something foolish that I might regret later. Andy
  8. Hi Do you still do the number plate decals aswell as these? If so how much are they? Andy
  9. It is an original body. What do you all use for repairs of this type? Andy
  10. I have a scorcher body that is mostly in good condition except that the roof gutters on both sides is damaged(bent in against the body and a bit chipped) Would you try and repair it back to original condition(if so how would you tell me how as I've never tried anything like that) or would you remove the gutters and deseem it completly.I know there are a lot of skilled modellers out there and would like your opinions. Andy
  11. Cheers guys Looks like you have helped me out already shodog. Just looking online to see if these parts are available in the UK. Andy
  12. ? I want to cut and paste an image from my documents to this post to show the part I require. Andy

Checked on ebay, are they available on a current model or a reissue like the grass hopper? Cheers Andy PS can someone tell me how to insert a picture into a post. Thanks
  14. So whats different between these 2 and the blitzer nose cone, in pictures when either a blitzer body or nose cone has been used the bottom section does not go back as far as with the original and monster beetle versions. Is it that the top half is deeper or the bottom half is shallower and has anyone modified a blitzer one to look more realistic. Andy
