  1. Hi all, im after some help. First of all i need to identify these rear arms on my top force evo, then I need to find a front pair to match.. Can you help?? Cheers Richard
  2. Quick question... after voting, the voting buttons are still viewable despite my vote having been 'registered'...Can you confirm this should be happening please?? Would it not be better to remove the option once someone has made the vote. ie once you've voted on your third place the choice is then removed? Cheers :-)
  3. Yeah, no problem at all. Lemming had his at Kidderminster last year and I can tell you it flew!!! I also now have a brushless in my TF Evo.
  4. I had to lol when i saw a NIB Egress up for.... Wait for it.. EUR 1,199.00.. or roughly 850 !!!!!! Now that is having a laugh.. ;-)
  5. Great, thanks Yamita... Dunno, are you trustworthy..? Will send you a list later if thats ok then?? Cheers
  6. All, Very interesting, the last couple of posts. I have had motor mounts by GPM for some time, and have sold them for the last year or so and had not encountered this problem before. The mounts I usually sell (to clear up the confusion) are the 'modified motor mounts' which are fot 18-22tooth pinions. These fit all DF-01 gearbox equipped cars. GPM actually make two mounts, the standard being more or less identical to the plastic one and being for 16t pinions up. They very rarely have these avilable. In terms of GPM's quality, I understood from people that have used them for years that it was there early manufactured parts that were slightly dodgy, and that from 2005 onwards they had re-tooled increasing there quality. I will pass this thread onto GPM to see if they will comment directly. How many are there then with this problem? Cheers Richard Tomkins X3 Racing
  7. Sorry - Duplicate post...
  8. They dont seem to be making them anymore, the last orders i've put in with them they didnt have any..!!
  9. Morning, I need to order some bits from Tamiya USA's web site, but unfortunately I dont live in America. Would anyone be willing to buy the bits for me and send them on?? Thanks Richard
  10. Alloy props can be found on ebay mate. Carson Prop: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Carson-13708-Alu-Ant...VQQcmdZViewItem GPM Alloy Prop: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GPM-Alloy-prop-for-T...1QQcmdZViewItem Carson prop's from me experience arent that well engineered, you usually have to burr out some of the output shaft so the end will fit in..!! Hope that helps. Richard
  11. No, I mean the correct hole in the motor mount.. ;-)
  12. Nick, Just had a thought, it may be that you havent quite got the right hole, that would cause it be miss-aligned!! Or its too tight against the gear and wearing quickly. Err, well the simple answer is trial and error with the GPM mounts. I still cant believe they dont put numbers next to the holes!! Cheers Richard
  13. Most people tend to put a piece of metal across the top of the two mouldings on the side with the single screw.. i'll take a pic and show you where.. There's not enough room to drill through.. :-(
  14. Yes, its based on the manta ray, although its a slightly different chassis configuration.. the battery is held in differently. Richard
  15. You dont say weather you changed the lower gear casing or not?? Its possible the motor mount (the casing as opposed to the seperate mount) itself has been shunted and is out of alignment. If its not that then the motor output shaft may have been bent. Rgds Richard
  16. Carbon Chassis Sets can be found on ebay.. the model number is 53100 but they are getting expensive - 60. You could also look at an FRP chassis (the one that orginally comes with the Top Force), around 25 or I sell an alloy one at 20. Spending doesnt stop there though, as to convert chassis you will need the following: Top Force Mount BagTop Force J Parts Hope that helps Richard
  17. Afternoon, chaps (and chap'es) Does anyone know where I can get a carbon chassis set from? I've seen the one on Fibre Lyte and think its on the expensive side. Or, does anyone have the set they want to sell me? Part 2: Like many of the Tamiya cars there's quite a lot of parts that will fit across the range, I'm after advice from you Dyna Storm guru's out there on which bits will go on, and suggestions for Hop-ups. I know some of the parts from the TR-15T are a direct fit, but which one's? Thanks as always for your help, any is appreciated as I dont know the dyna range at all.. Richard
  18. All, an update: I have just placed the order for these decals. Will post an expected delivery date once I have it... Wohoo!! ;-)
  19. If you feel the need to go slighly further South I can organise a venue in Dunchurch (just outside Rugby), its quite a large village hall and has a large car park, plus great access to M45\M6\M1... Just a thought for those that are down South or in the West\Far East. Kind Rgds Richard
  20. It also shares some of the parts with the TA01 range, so you can get the Carrier and the hub in alloy. Both can be found here: http://www.x3racing.org/store/index.php?ma...514338ef83a788b Rgds Richard
  21. Thanks all for your input and advice, the TA02 will stay on the shelf and i'll get myself a TA05!! Cheers ;-)
  22. Ok, thanks for the advice all. Can someone explain the differences between, 415, TA05 and evo4...? Thinking I minght end up using my ta02 chassis as im not going to be racing very often. Anyone still racing one of these??
  23. They are GPM parts.. just in case you wanted to know...
  24. Hi all, I really fancy doing a bit of racing but my local club (Rugby) only race touring cars which I really know nothing about. So i'm after some advice on a good car to get. Obviously it has to be Tamiya!! Has anyone raced the 30th anniversary porsche? Im after a car that doesnt need much setting up, and that is ideally very upgradeable. I have about 300 to spend on the car. Cheers in advance..
  25. The pieces you require for the battery stays come in the Top Force Evo Tool bag, or the Top Force press parts bag. You'll probably find one of those on fleebay. The top Force bodyset you will also be able to find on ebay, they come up every so often and usually for between 15-25. As for the decals, they are extremely rare. If you can find an original one it will cost you upwards of 40, i've seen one go for 60. I am getting some re-produced to near original quality and they will cost around 20. Hope that helps... Richard
