  1. thank you Truck Stop, You've been extremely helpful. Thnx Tom
  2. What is a producer(As in the music industry)What does the producer do? Whats the director and what does he do? Whats the production manager and what does he do? Thnx Tom
  3. I got a TL-01. I was wondering if it's a must to glue the stock rubber tires to the wheels? ----Also---- Are tire inserts necessary or can we substitute it with something else? Thnx Tom
  4. U got a point. Well Jimmy_GT-R, You got me sold on it. Thnx for the info. I guess i'll be saving up for the TB-01 instead. Thnx again. Tom
  5. Nvm I'll do my research on the adjustable suspension thing.
  6. Hey thnx. I was just wonderind how good the TB-01 was at keeping out dirt and maybe even snow[] I heard that HPI are almost Flawless at that. Is the TB-01 a Definate COntender?Because i do plan on running it through Dirt. Also, Does The TB-01 have adjustable suspension? By the way, have you heard of PLRC( Parking Lot Race Club) in Streetsville?
  7. HPI has an amazing reputation and i have to go with theirs.Btw how much would the TB-01 cost me? I'm in mississauga where you at?
  8. Hi, I am wondering how much a TL-01 chassis would be worth. It's in pretty great shape. I was thinking of selling it along with a Monte Carlo mitsubishi lancer evo4 body shell which is in ok condition. I was wondering this because I'm a pretty big WRC fan and I've had my eye on a Hpi RS4 Rally for quite some time. If I were to sell my Tl-01 without the Futaba controller gear in it but with everything else, how much do you think it would sell for? I already have around $300 (cdn) saved up which is already enough to buy a RS4 rally kit but not including a speed control and electric motor. So anyways, much will my TL-01 run for? Thnx Tom
  9. Hey everybody, I just wanted to share something with you guys. Im not sure if anyone of you guys know this trick or stylish modification but here it is. All u ricers get ready. I have came up with an idea for creating a look of an aftermarket exhaust for riced up cars. It's using a simple bullet shell. Not the 9mm ones but more like .223 or 7.26 shells. Cut off 2-3cm off off the bullet down from where the actual bullet once was( make sure it's an empty shell[]) And cut a hole in your body accordingly. And position it and stick it on however u can. It's as simple as that. Great. Tom
  10. Laborghini Mercielago [] Ford SVT Lightning(not really a dream car but really cool) Ford GT-40 (new ones) We used to have a 1995 dodge stealth twin turbo r/t. I dunno if you guys would consider it exotic but 320 horses to the full time 4wheel-drive feels really amazing. My dad and i used to floor it at streetlights once they turned green and when we reached 3rd gear we'd put it in neutral and just let the car roll on by itself. It was a heavy sucker so it allowed us to do that. I loved the sound of the turbo and the feeling when the turbo kicked in. Truly felt like a jet lifting off from a carrier. I could feel the stomach start to turn when he floored it. Unfortunately, we put it on sale. Now my dad bought the new Nissan 350z. I love this car!!! Its silver and has the performance package trim. I would have liked the charcoal grey exterior with the yellow seats because i thought it looked more exotic also different. Alot of people take silver for the nissan. O well , what can u do.
  11. lemme finish my sentense... Does anyone else find the Craftsman Truck series to be more exciting than NASCAR??? I am not a fan at all of the both of them, I'm a WRC fan. Love Rallying. But I have just finished watching a Craftsman series truck race an I think that it isn't half bad. Alot of spins and crashes( well alot more than a NASCAR race). Anyone feel Truck racing will overcome popularity over NASCAR although they are basically the same thing???
  12. Which one would you prefer??? I really like both of them. I currently have a TL-01 with a Mitsubishi Lancer evo 4 Monte Carlo body shell with Futaba servos and controller and i am currently putting it back together since i took it apart for maintainance over the winter. I have no hop-ups yet but i am currently designing a shell that will cover my chassis that will keep the dirt out when i go driving in the dirt. I am also creating wheel wells which have been proven xtremely useful when my friend and I tested it on his TL-01. Very little water made it into his body. The type of materials i am using for my shell are nothin more than those clear sheets of plastic paper which are used for overhead projectors. Does anyone know any other shells or tubs that are out there for the TL-01 unless mine fails? Does anyone know of any plans tamiya might have for a shell for a TL-01??? Is there any way for me to contact them to produce a product like this??? Any output is really appreciated.
  13. Hey c'mon guys. ANyone heard of HPI??? Go to www.hpiracing.com
