  2. Heavy Tank Type VI King tiger Porsche turret
King Tiger DMD Kit (ITEM 56007)
    restoration project.

as you can see in the pics it is missing a few bits of trim and a couple of the mudguard panels but would be an easy restore or great parts model, I had intended to rebuild with some of the brass parts kits and add more detail but have to clear out some projects so will leave this to you to decide what you want to do with her.
the drive train seems to work fine and I have tested her with some radio ( please note no radio or battery are supplied with sale ) but does come with Tamiya DMD Control Unit T-01

    Overall length 640mmOverall width 235mm

looking for £125 plus postage or might trade :-)

  3. Tamiya M1025 Hummer R/C 4WD Off Road Car - discontinued model

Built and never used, this was a shelf queen and has Green LED lights fitted to the body
the car has been painted and given a weathered mud effect as seen in the pics
she is fitted with servo for the steering and speed control but would require your own receiver and radio to get running

The car is in near mint condition having only been run a few times around the living room with a CCTV spy camera fitted ( this has been removed but there is a 10mm round hole in the top of the shell - see pics ) and a replacement plastic can be bought for a few pound to restore.
Instructions and box included if wanted

  4. Robbe Klack Racers

    Same as Kyosho Raider

We have for sale two vintage Robbe Klack Racer’s (Same as the Kyosho Raider) complete with Robbe 40mhz 2 ch radio with battery eliminator circuits for the receiver ( shows how dated they are) still run them from time to time but just need to make some space up my lost as they don't get as much use as they should, both speed controls have been converted to standard tamiya connections (so will happily work with most modern 7.2V batteries

One has a broken spoiler Now held together with tape :-) but has no effect on performance

I seem to have lost the back from one controller but still works fine.

    So what you get =

    1. 2 x Robbe Klack Racers

    2. 2 x 40mhz Robbe Transmitters

All you will need to run them is 8 AA batteries for each controller and a 7.2V battery for each

This is a good setup for home racing the Kyosho parts for the Raider cars are easy to get and they are fast enough for garden racing :-)

    ebay

  5. I have both but if I could only have one it would be the king

    and try this, Planet T5 Radio Set - 2.4GHz Transmitter (5-Ch, Mode 2) with 6-Channel Receiver. £35.99 http://www.brchobbies.co.uk/?page=shop&item=608

I just got one and it works fine with the MFU

Now that looks good Value but none in stock :-(

As for the Truck I loved building my Knight Hauler, but I like to build one of each so the next would be the King Hauler or Globe Liner :-)

  6. Ok so had a clear out of some of the bits I don't need and have listed them all on E-bay

Lost of bits but I think the star bit is the Tamiya 1/14 Mercedes Benz 1838LS & Trailer ARTR

    And the car stuff

    Ebay

Ending in 1 hour near reserve

Relisted due to non paying bidder on e-bay with no reserve and better postage option

  7. Ok not sure if there will be much interest but I’m looking to downsize my fleet and I’ll start with the biggest my Tamiya Knight Hauler with full MFU unit all radio gear, Modified Tamiya box trailer with motorised legs and all the additional led’s, it even has a custom cattle bar on the front bumper and a 3.5mm audio jack installed into the MFU to allow the use of a MP3 player (if you like music while you drive) the Rig was fitted with full bearing set, however the trailer never got this treatment (never seen the point) Overall the whole build isn’t 100% perfect the rig has a nice high shine and the trailer is more of a satin finish with a few blemishes and odd little blister but as you can see from the pictures they are hardly noticeable ( I just want to be 100% honest)

I’ll be sad to see this model go as it’s really one of the best I have but it has been run for about 10min since complete and has spent the rest of its life on a shelf, I had planned on taking it to the local Truckfest show in Edinburgh last year but Truckfest has decided that they don’t want RC stuff there so I really have no way to show off my handy work :-(

As for delivery I’m sure it could be packaged up carefully and posted using one of the big company’s but as yet have no Idea how much that would cost and if it would really be safe

    Thanks for looking

    J

Open to offers perfer collection or meet half way but may post at cost

Please remember that the cost of the Truck, Trailer, Legs, bearings, MFU and radio will cost about £750 if bought from Japan such as steller models with the chance of import duty or just over £1000 if bought from fusion Hobbies or Modelsport in the UK so there is a lot here and that is without the custom work on the trailer and rig with all the extra lighting... I’m not saying this to put people off but if you offer me £100 don’t be offended if I tell you where to put it :-)

    My Tamiya trades

  8. Hi I bought 2 sets of wheels with tires as a Buy it now off a well known seller on E-bay

Paid for the items and shipping there and then that was on Wednesday. This morning I get an e-mail from the seller saying there was a listing error and PayPal have sent a refund. Now I know everyones human and people make mistakes but the items are now showing in my e-bay home page as unpaid and when I try to pay the amount is 3 times what I originally paid.

So where do I stand if I don't pay can they open a dispute what happens about feedback? should the seller do the honourable thing and just stick to the original price after all they should have checked the listing.

any advice or view on this please

    thanks

    J

  9. Hi Ive been offered a 58405 CR-01TAMIYA LAND CRUISER for 198 UK with no import charges... now I'm not a crawler fan as such but like a model with lots of bits hence why I have 3 trucks and an F350

So is 198 a good price and is there enough work in the model to keep it interesting?

    Any advice appreciated

    Jay
