Its got to be the Sierra RS500 Cosworth. I've got the Kyosho one but the proportions just seem very wide and flattened. Tamiya did excellent 1/24th scale version so I always wondered why they never made them - after all they were eventually outlawed through most top flight Touring Car Championships because no one else could keep up and it was only the advent of the Skylines that got to knock them off the top down under. It was these beasts that caused the BTCC to change to the new 2 litre formula in 1991. **** Johnson in Shell livery please or Graham Goode in Listerine livery...yum, yum (although Kyosho also did this as an option decal set). Also the rally variants in Q8 colours, classic Jimmy McRae and awesome Panache 'Tour de Corse' 1988 winner. Why oh why Mr. Tamiya!?!?! Hi Anthony - Thanks YES & NO - I do want these but also the large vac formed body pieces also which I think you used to velco to the inside of the shell if memory serves !?!

Hi Guys - My first post of many before I get round to becoming a member and being a part of this great site - Does anyone know where to buy (if they're still available) driver sets either new or repro to fit in the rally cars the likes found in the Escort Cosworth, Lancia Delta, Celica GT4 etc.?? Any help or pointing in the right direction would be great.[] P.S. Theres a little about me under my name incase some people wonder I'm not a fully fledged Tamiyaholic!!
