  1. I'm still indecisive about what to order for christmas, the rally/touring side of things the cayenne seems better. But the touareg looks easier to hop up since it isn't a mixed-part chassis and with some shorter shocks/springs could make something special for rallying/touring imo. On the other hand there is the M03 swift which i could buy TL-01b wishbones/shocks for quite possibly the best rally setup/low rolling at speed etc.. decisions decisions... Thanks, Lewis PS: keep the ideas rolling
  2. Thanks alot for the advice on where to buy the kit version, however it is more expensive that the xb built version for modelsport . and i might just do what you suggested on the motor+esc side of things. That list of bearings needed is very helpful since i couldn't seem to find a kit pack of the bearings for that chassis. Thanks, Lewis
  3. The brushless setup i linked will be a large upgrade on the stock silver can tho right? also, any ideas on what sort of run time i might get from the linked shopping cart? Thanks, Lewis
  4. looks like a gem i did not find!, thanks for pointing this out, looks as though it would be pretty stable powering through turns any ideas where i can get a kit version though?(as well as where i can buy the ballrace set too) To be fair the brushless gear i posted at the top isn't a scratch on the setup you have, i'll be using 7.2v ni-mh batteries, and a 13.5 turn brushless. correct me if i'm wrong but you can't really compare the two,i realise that you double up/replaced the springs to compensate for this, thankyou for the advice on rolling though. Thanks, Lewis.
  5. Excellent , then i just might be ordering this one in time for christmas , also any other useful info on this chassis would be much appreciated. Thanks, Lewis
  6. Was this aimed at me? i sure hope it was because if it is then it sounds like the car for me. thanks, Lewis
  7. thanks alot for your advice igbandy , it seems the cc-01 chassis is not for me then, since i'm looking for a chassis suitable for brushless and a bit of rallying/onroad, on the crawling side of things i'm not after something for competition but for a few small rocks and things. although on the other hand i really do like the look and design of the cc-01, that yokomo 35t drift motor sounds good, or are there any anti roll mods that can be done to the cc-01? Lewis
  8. hi guys i have a few questions about the cc-01 chassis that i would like to ask . first of all would it be able to handle this gear: secondly, will the car be stable on road and at the beach on wet sand with this stuff and will it be able to rock crawl with the stock esc and motor installed. many thanks, Lewis
  9. that is my nearest decent shop i bought my baja champ kit with esc for £88.50 and then a radio kit for zebra radio kit (hitec budget sereies) with two servos for £30.00
  10. oh jozza can you show me a pic of this mod you did to that mad bull it sounds interesting
  11. thx everyone you've all helped a newbie so much lol[] lewis
