  1. it's handy not to have to paint tire letters
  2. Impressive masking job, can't wait to see the whole package
  3. Now also available in PDF format! It will be easier if you want to test several paintschemes, weither painting with your favourite photoshop-like soft, or simply by printing the page you're interested in!
  4. Hello all, May I present you my latest work? it'sn RC COLORING book featuring hundreds of 2D drawings of cars like Kyosho Optimae, Mids, AYK buggies, and a few others. I think - but I can be wrong- that it's the first Coloring book for vintage RC cars... The book presents 2 pages spreads with a color drawing facing the monochrome outlined drawing. Some are perspectives, but all cars have their plan and side views so you can use it to draw paint schemes for your cars as well. Just photocopy the pages so you can try several variants, or enlarge the drawings to make posters, cut them with scissors and make collages, etc. Here I just made several examples of coloring to show you what could be done. Unleash your creativity! 326 pages, soft cover You can order it here by Blurb: https://tinyurl.com/yckmd9bm I also made a cheaper monochrome version: https://tinyurl.com/yckmd9bm or PM me if you want a signed copy, that I'll send from Belgium. #theoptimahouse #lineworks #coloringbook
  5. Hello all, I've listed some of my parts on Ebay. Mainly Marui Hunter, Galaxy, Samurai, Ninja, Shogun 3D Repro parts. https://www.befr.ebay.be/sch/optimaforever/m.html?
  6. My chassis is arrived. I was worried about the dimensions but it's perfect! Next time I print in natural (grey) polished, I need to remind to spray a bit of clear coat, to avoid finger prints... This was a proofprint anyway so it's not very important.
  7. Notice that the clear resin presents some tiny bubbles but they are less visible once you put gears in the gearbox. This is normal with clear resin printing.
  8. For sale a Marui Samurai Clear Rear Gearbox: 65€ plus shipping fee from Belgium It is a part of my Skeleton Samurai Project (https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?/topic/100937-marui-samurai-x-optimahouse-project/); I made a spare... For ball bearings, it needs 2 Flanged 4x8x3mm and 6 ordinary 4x8x3mm ball bearings (see the infos on my imaterialise webpage: https://i.materialise.com/en/shop/item/marui-samurai-rear-gearbox)
  9. I want to keep the metal parts as is and play with the contrast between opaque and clear parts. It's mesmerizing to play with the cupjoints and see the diff work in seethrough
  10. Hello all, I've started a clear Marui Samurai project. It will probably be a long journey as the cost of the clear parts printing is still high but I think for the shelf it is well worth it because I love the design of this 1985 car. So far I'm done with the gearbox. Printed in clear transparent resin (SLA). The gears mesh perfectly as you can see here.
  11. You travel with a RC car in your suitcase? Impressive!
  12. I'm trying to print the Marui Shogun/Ninja rear gearbox. A huge intricate puzzle...
  13. Yesterday I got several copies of the OptimaHouse artbook 2021. Yay!!!
  14. I've decided to offer them at 50€ by default. You can always order via Blurb but it's 70€ and not autographed so I guess less interesting. I initially favoured Blurb because I wasn't confident about the shipping fee but eventually found a nice affordable shipping service.
