i have to say that i defo want to have a go at building a TLT Dodge Ram such as yours and i have not even built my twin det yet.

No worries thanks for that. Think ill stick down the truck route for now though well impressed by the custom TLT Dodgel Ram Pickup thats on the forum at the moment it look fantastic i want one NOW.....

is that full size one?? i reakon it will be difficult to get that down a chimney breast!!! Went to a model shop yesterday called baxters nearlly made a purchase of an easycopter http://www.baxtersonline.co.uk/shop/index....;search=RC3402E have you ever been on a rc helicopter??. The other model shop i got my twin det from said he recommends when flying any rc helicopter you need a days training by some one who knows what they are doing?? However the chap in baxters told me this product he has is dead easy to fly however when i asked him if he had tried it he replied no!!...Not sure if he was just pushing the hard sell !! Matty

Hi all thanks for the advice regarding which truck to go for i did go for the Twin Det in the end and picked it up on Thursday. The only thing is i cant blood get my hands on it until xmas as it is a gift from my folkes [8o|] The controls are MRC and not ERC like you metioned Joel. The guy in the store mentioned that once i am up and running i may want to upgrade to the ERC although its not going to make a real big difference only slightly smoother control?? He quoted approx £40 i think and that this particular ERC is compatible for twin motors. Matty[]

Cheers for that joel all this new terminology it seems like a new language i need to learn. That link on the speed controllers is really useful, ill ask the shop when i next speak to them on monday what type of speed controller it comes with and ill keep you posted.... let me know if there is anything else should i ask for??? I have seen the clear body with the twin det i think it comes with a can of blue spray paint..This should be interesting when i give it a go thats if i choose the twin det....Must admit i like the idea of changing the body from time to time is that actualy possible?? if so is there anywhere wher you recommend where i can buy more bodies from??? The shop is called The Model Shop they are based 179 Ferensway in Hull. The Twin Det is £139.99 the Blackfoot is £134.99 inc R/C, NICAD,Charger and Batterys. What do you think is that a fair price??? You got it Joel they only do stock the Blackfoot and Twin Det although he can get other stuff in. Matty

The guy in the store where i am going to buy my truck from initially recommended the blackfoot but then he said if i want more power the twin det has twin motors for more strengh for off road and speed ?? I am going to buy a truck this thursday i honestly cant wait but like i say not 100% sure which one to go for. I have never put one of these trucks together it seems people on forums say that it is quite simple?? Matty

I am first timer to the game always wanting a Montser Truck and now have decided to take the plunge and get one.
