You could try "plastic weld", I've found it useful for some fixes. It's not a glue but a chemical that slightly melts certain plastics. Easily found on eBay for a few quid.

Hi I'm fixing up my old thunder dragon the the 90s. I bashed it to badword until it wouldn't move anymore. I've got new (A) parts but I'm worried about splitting them when I screw the blue (D) parts in to them. Any tricks to doing it without damaging my shiny new (A) parts? Cheers.
