  1. No Prob...Here is a thread i did over on Garden trucking with some more info for you.. http://www.gardentruckingforum.com/YaBB.pl?num=1252636281
  2. I would think so..I run all 13 of my MFU's in my semis on 2 cell Lipos. I use the Novak 2 cell lipo cut off.. I have been doing this for a year with no issues it all.
  3. Hey thanks guys.. This tractor is a blast to run it has a ton of power for pulling. I am working on a piece of tillage equ to pull behind it and a few other pieces to pull behind it Ill keep you posted on my progress.
  4. I did some trading and such with a good friend of mine Robbert last year at Indy to get me a 1/16 Ertl 4x4 tractor turned into a RC tractor. Well Friday it showed up and I could not be happier with the out come of it. The running gear is made out of Tamiya semi axle and a Rc4wd R2 tranny and a Rc4wd 4 to 1 Gear Reduction Unite a 55 turn crawler motor. The motor is running off a castle ESC running 11.1 lipo and a castle BEC and a VG600 remote. The tractor runs and pulls great I am working on getting my first piece of tillage equipment and will be ran by a servo viva the ports that are mounted on the rear of the tractor. i will also be working on a silage blade for it to.
  5. Thanks much for the great complement I really enjoy building semis and farm equipment.
  6. Thanks Guys she is one of my pride and joys for sure. it is a great running truck and with its power plant and it weight it can pull a ton of weight. I got just a few minor things left on it. I have to make a door to cover the MFU controls and I have full hump fenders I have to paint and mount still.
  7. Hey guys I need the 2 shafts that come ffrom the center section to the C's and 1 or 2 drive cups anyone have any bits let me know.
  8. I like what you have done with this truck..You did a great job on the weathering also looks great. I taken my stock tires and notch my tread with my band saw I also use the same led weight strips I use on my crawlers for weight I just wrap it around the rim. If you look close you can see the cut marks going across ed the tread
  9. Thanks Much Jim Yeah the chassis right down to the rails are all custom. i had a die made of tamiya frame rails so i could have blanks to make any length of truck I want. I am finishing up my fire truck build then this truck is the first to get finished..
  10. I have changed out the stacks on my truck this is my stacks next to the new ones. BEFORE AFTER
  11. I finally finished my 3 axle 379 Pete my kid calls it BigBlack I guess it fits. I did some changing as I was installing the lights and radio gear and all that. I changed my steps to a larger taller step and put longer and wider mud flaps on it and put flaps on the steps and front fenders. I also made my rear light panel out of 2 Knight Hauler tail lights grafted together. I have been driving it a fare amount in the last 12hr. Found out it does not bob tail on the carpet with the lift axle down, it loses traction so lift axle is strong enuff to lift the per load off the leaf springs.. Let me know what you think. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [/b]
  12. Ok I got the truck all together body wise now it is time for wiring but I could not pass up the chance to get some good out door picks of it today. Ok then at INDY Ed and I did some dealing again this year and I picked up his BAD KW day cab. I am not doing much to it just reworking the wiring to fit my needs and I put some of my new 1/2 stacks on it also putting a full polished deck on it and new tail lights and I wet sanded and polished the tanks and front bumper out to. [/b]
  13. I just have to fine line it out with the gold around the Tangello orange. I have to rebuff the front bumper and 2 other small spots but other than that the body and paint is finished and the wiring has begone.. I got the gold pin strip around the orange color the last 2 day I think it really sets it off nice. I am going to start wiring it now I am trying to decided if I should use the Servo Naught sound and light unit or if I will go with the tamiya MFU pretty tight on space with the motor under the hood so the tamiya mfu is sort of losing out. I also have to make mirror brackets and rear light plate. [/b]
  14. Just got the black all done and buffed out and going to do the strip on it tonight and clear it then put all the goodies on and bring it to Indy but I wont post picks you can see it finished at Indy ;D [/b]
  15. Got the paint work done on my frame/tanks/steps/and tranny all DuPont Black with Clear then the tanks were wet sanded and buffed out. I still have to modd the rear tires and am hoping to have the cab all done with in the next week or so. It will be at indy but may just be for looks we will see.. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] Sorry about the picks my cam died so I am using my phone. I got some picks of the frame out side..[/b] [/b]
  16. Got the 3 axle pretty much finished out tonight minus new stacks and custom steps and rear light plate but here is what I have now. Decking is all built but I still have to cut the grid plate to go over it and mount the 5th wheel.. > [/b]Well i got a wild hair last night and got back at the triple axle Pete and with the help of Wade found a paint job on large car this morning so i got cracking with some finishing touches so i could get this in paint this week so it is ready for Indy. I finished the plastic work on the hood so I can get it filled and filled in the cab roof lights and got the radiator made also.[/b] So now I can get it wet sanded and get the body work done and in primer. I will get the frame work all painted this week.
  17. Well after many hours this weekend I have been able to finish my Kenworth W900L. I got all the MFU and extra lighting done on the truck but I am planing to add more down the road. I got the strips on it along with the hood emblems and also a new sun visor. Also trimmed the sleeper windows out with flat black for the gaskets and then smoked lexan for the windows and finished with 8 bunk lights in the back of the sleeper. I do have a new set of PMD air cleaners coming for it and new steps in the works. I am also going to put a lighted bulk head between the fuel tanks with blue lights in them. I will get some picks of all the lights on tomorrow I have to charge a battery and get another E-Flight plug..
  18. Well I got most of my wiring done on this truck..I polished and wired the light plate got everything fitted in the cab I am working on the cab now I have the high and low beams wired as well as the blinkers I am now working on the 10 roof lights. Then I will still have to wire the 8 sleeper lights and I am waiting on PMD air cleaners to come in and i will have 4 lights on each side of the air cleaner too boot..
  19. I decided to work on the 3 axle pete tonight I got the shift servo hooked up I know a few were wondering how I was going to do that and I also after much thought got the lift axle in perfect working order.. In line servo for the shifting.. Lift axle servo and shift servo.. Video
  20. Well I tore into My Tri-Axle Pete this week and got a lot done. I have tore it down and made new 29 Inch long frame rails, moved somethings around and added a Die cast Cat c-15 motor relocated the steering servo and shifting servo and used my Rev mounted 2:1 gear reduction 3 speed tranny so it would fit in the cab and leave me room in the rest of the cab and sleeper for the sound unite battery and radio gear. I still have to mock up the shifting servo and lift axle servo and steps also the rear deck plate and 5th wheel, 2 RC4WD punisher drive shafts with carrier bearing. More to come the next few days I am going to try to tear it down for paint by net weekend.. Tag Axle UP
  21. Just Finished today is the newly rebuilt Green Pete. This is a truck I first got 6 years ago as a basket case. I have made new stacks, Bird Screen in the air cleaners, Air Clean lights, New light plate in the rear, Custom 4 inch stretch with smooth deck plate, Front fender mud flaps and Brass CB Whips, Rear sleeper window and sleeper lights, Also cattle guard 2 Punisher shafts with carrier bearing and GI JOE "Cowboy" at the wheel, Full Tamiya Alum Rims, Truck has Full MFU all in the cab with extra street glow lights. All paint is Mono Chrome PPG with PPG clear. Top Row Parking Lights Middle Row Parking and Break Lights with the 2 outside lights amber Blinkers and Bottom 2 Rev Lights
  22. the Punisher Shafts came in for the K900 and the Pete so now I can tear down the K900 and start painting this weekend and as so as it is painted I will paint the Pete.. K900 Pete I got tall the frame work and body painted this weekend I still have 2 more coats of clear to do next weekend on the body I was not able to get it on there with the rain that came in today. I have a lot to do still but coming along nice I think. I is hard to get good picks of it with the flake in the paint and the shine on the body.. got the paint work all finished up on my KW900 and got some of it back together and am now just waiting for the MFU to show for it. I put bird screen on the stock air cleaners and also put PMD tank straps on the tanks, built some new stacks and then took the chrome KH dash out of my some Hong Kong Hauler and also the clear glass out of his truck and put it in the KW with a GI Joe ghuy at the wheel and then made some mirrors out of King Hauler to fit the KW. So here is what I ended up with today.. New Dash and mirrors and driver with the windows rolled down. I still have to paint all the window trim and put in the smoked lexan windows in the sleeper plus wire the MFU and extra lights control I also got the frame work painted on the green pete and I am putting it back together right now and the MFU came in for it as did the punisher shafts. Stay Tuned.
  23. Well some of you older members might remember when I got this truck and rebuilt it the first time. I went ahead and started my rebuild of my first truck. I still have to do the back light plate and deck plate and punisher shafts before I can paint the frame. Then I am going to install the MFU and put the body back on it while I modd another new body for it. I am not sure if I am going to change the tanks and steps I kind of like that old school look on this one.. BEFORE AFTER
  24. Ok I have been working on the K900 the last 2 days and I got the frame all built and mocked up so as soon as the RC4WD Punisher drive shafts and then I can paint the frame so here is the picks.. Frame 2" longer now Deck plate now covers the screws that hold the light plate 4:1 tucked in the frame rails and pillow block Shows length between the K900 and my other trucks
  25. Well today I got some more on the Heavy hauler Pete done. I got both sides of the hood filled in and started building the new frame to set the Cat motor in and also fitted my EBH rims on the hole rig. These have to be the coolest rims I have ever had and do they weight a ton they really add some good weight to a rig.
