  1. SoCal for me too. Costa Mesa. Used to race at SoCal RC Raceway, Huntington Beach, before they closed.
  2. The good thing about those dubro links is that they won't pop off. The bad thing about those links is that they won't pop off. I have raced enough 1/10 buggies and trucks to know that the ball cup type links will save other parts of the suspension when you bump into something. They are meant to pop off. Yeah the stock cups are a bit weak, but there are other ball cups that hold better. Look for RPM or others that are designed to stay put. but will still pop off in the unfortunate event of a collision. Keep in mind that the more you pop on and pop off any ball cup, the weaker they get.
  3. I just picked one up from Ultimate Hobbies ($279.95) here in SoCal and it came with the blue bag and esc. Maybe they all come with the bag. Haven't checked out the cage issue yet.
  4. Thanks for the TL-01 idea. I'll have to give that a try. I'd also like to put the wheels on the WW1, but that could be a whole other compatibility issue. Anybody done that?
  5. Sorry, I'm, a fairly new member and missed this, but is there any discussion on mounting the TLT-1 wheels (hex) onto a spindle front end of the Wild Willy 2? Thanks
  6. Thanks! I don't know what it is about the color but I just love it. Especially on the Bug. 5th car I've painted with it. I may also paint my new Brat with it too. Stop me. . . .I'm out of control! You betcha those are Rad's rims. Impeccable wonders of machinied pieces of art they are. Updated pics:
  7. Here are some possible sponsor images. Scroll down the page. I just Googled "disney cars movie" images. http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/cars01.htm
  8. Camel Toe? Not sure how to explain that one, [].
  9. Sort of like this? Suggested by gobby in my showroom.
  10. I'm a bit hesitant going with the Camel theme since I don't smoke and don't like to endorse the habit, especially since I'm raising a little tyke in the house. Interesting idea though.
